Jades POV
I'm in the middle of telling Perrie a story of me and my mam when I hear someone calling Perries name. I try to sit up but she gently places her hand on my forehead pushing me down slightly. "It's just Andre".
"How long will yous be, I need to know when to make dinner!"
Perrie waves her arm probably signaling for him to come over.
He soon is standing infront of us, smiling down at us. "We'll be back in a bit more than an hour", I say, looking at where the sun currently is.
"Do you mind taking a few pictures of us", says Perrie, grabbing her phone from the bag and passing it to Andre. He nods and points the camera out towards us. I just sit and stare at Perrie, and not even because we're being photographed. There is a slight breathe which is ruffling her hair slightly, and her eyes are bright as she stares down at me, her hair falling down her shoulders, her hand running through my hair. I then sit up quickly so i'm sitting on her lap and kiss her lips softly. I feel her smile and stroke my hair.
"Done", says Andre, putting the phone down on my lap.
"How come you came down here and didn't call us?", I say, the thought popping in to my head.
"Oh... Erm- I just needed to- stretch my legs...?"I look at him unconvincingly, and lean back slightly in to Perrie.
"There's just a lot going on in there at the moment and I didn't want to be in the middle of it".
I look at Perrie and there's a worried look on her face. "Shall we go back?", I say to Perrie tucking some hair behind her ear. She nods quickly and as i'm shifting off of Perrie, Andre speaks.
"No-no guys. I didn't want to ruin whatever it is, and I guess it's better if you're not there."
"Is it Jed?", growls Perrie, and I feel her tense beneath me.
"No, no, nothing like that. Just please stay here".
"Fine", she mumbles, unconvinced. As Andre walks away I run my hand through the tips of her hair and study her face. "Shall I call Leigh-Anne. She'll probably tell us if it's something terrible", I say, knowing that Perrie wasn't going to relax. She nods and I take her phone, having left mine at the house. I press Leighs contact and it goes through on the last ring. I put it on speaker."Hey Perrie", she says, leaving us unable to read anything in her voice.
"Hey Lee. What's going on at the house? Andre just came but wouldn't tell us what's going on", I say. I know Perrie is anxious and I lace my fingers between hers, causing a small smile to play on her lips.
"Oh, it's nothing really. It's all sorting itself out anyway."
"What happened?", darts Perrie.
"It's nothing really. Just don't worry, I would tell you if it were serious".
"If it isn't that bad why won't you tell us", says Perrie, annoyance lacing in to her tone.
"Shh, it's okay Pez", I say gently, placing my lips on hers and letting them linger there.
"Thanks Leigh. Call us if you need anything", I say quickly, hanging up.Perrie is still rigid underneath me despite the reassurance from Leigh-Anne. Perrie always gets so wound up by things, and I find it so adorable yet heartbreaking. I tenderly place my lips on her soft ones again, and at first she doesn't react, but soon she kisses me back, wrapping her arms around my neck and pulling me closer to her. The kiss is gentle and soon Perrie pulls away. "Jade were in public", she says urgently, trying to move my leg that had made its way around her hip. "There's no one here Pez", I say, desperately trying to get her lips back on mine, but she places a hand on my chest. "We have time", she says, winking and nudging me slightly, causing me to pout. She runs her thumb over my lips, and quickly places her lips on them but pulls away quickly.
"Look at the sky", she says gently, and I look up to see a mixture of pink and orange diffusing over the sea. Perrie opens her legs and I move so i'm sitting between them, and I rest my head just underneath her shoulder. Her arms wrap around my waist and we simply sit and watch the sunset, the sound of the waves making me drift off in my thoughts."Once, when I was about 15 I was walking along the beach. My friends were taking pictures of me. The sun was setting and had very similar colours to now. A bird pooed on my hair", she breaks the silence. I burst out laughing, and feel her body shaking slightly underneath me, meaning she was too laughing.
"What did you do?", I say, once the roaring laughter died down slightly.
"I rushed home to have a shower. I saw the popular girls on the way back and i'm pretty sure they started laughing at me"
"I'm sure you looked amazing with the 'all natural' white streaks", I say, causing her to giggle.
"As good as I may have looked, I didn't smell my best"
"Well you can't have smelt worse than when we went to that music festival and you didn't shower for a solid two weeks. I swear that's the only moment in my life where I haven't wanted to be near you"
"Well I know how to get rid of you now", she teases, tilting my chin up slightly with her hand. A grin breaks up on my face and when I look up it's a near black shade of blue. "Well, shall we head back and see what's going on?"
She tenses at my word. I look at her and see something missing in her eyes. "Why are you so scared?", I say gently, caressing her cheek with my thumb. She looks down at her hands.
"I just- I'm scared that it is Jed, trying to ruin this". I tilt her chin up and her eyes are slightly watery. "It won't be, they would of told us. And if it is, i'll just get Andre and Chris to kick his ass". My comment causes her to giggle, but the look is still in her eyes. "And besides, he could never ruin us", I mumble, now so close to her that as I speak our lips brush. She kisses me gently once i've finished the last work and I wrap my arms around her neck, leaning in to her. She pulls away; "I love you Jade".I stand up and gather all our things in my bag. I then pull out two jumpers and fling one at Perrie. The air had turned cold the second the sun disappeared behind the sea. She smiles and pulls the jumper over her head, and I do the same. I take hold of her hand, intertwining our fingers, and we walk along the beach until reaching Perries trainers, an Perrie quickly pulls them on. We then walk along the path and I try to talk to Perrie but she gives short answers. I decide to leave her as there's no way to calm her down when she's this scared.
We walk up the gravel of the drive and notice there are only two cars. I feel Perries grip tighten on my hand as I knock on the door, and I wrap my arm around her, pulling her in to me assuringly. The door swings open to reveal Leigh-Anne. The warm air from the house rushes out the door, already warming my slightly frozen legs.
"Oh, hey guys!", she says, stepping back allowing us to step in. "What happened?", darts Perrie the second Leigh closes the door. Leigh holds her finger to her lips and signals towards the kitchen. She closes the door.
"Chris left", she says simply, pulling out one of the bar stools and sitting on it. I feel Perrie relax a bit. "But why. What happened. For how long?"
"I don't know why, but Jesy and Chris had a massive fight, and the next thing I know is he packed his bag and left".The second Leighs done talking Perrie escapes my grip and walks out the room, probably looking for Jesy. I turn and walk almost right behind her. The second I see Jesy curled up on the sofa with her head in a pillow my heart breaks and I rush over to Perries side and we both kneel next to the sofa. Perrie places her hand on Jesy causing her to jump and turn on her side to look at us. Her eyes are puffy and her face is red, but there are no tears in her eyes. "Are you okay babe", says Perrie gently, rubbing her arm. Jesy smiles slightly and nods. "He was a dick anyway", she tries to say confidently, but her voice cracks.
"You don't have to be this strong you know", I say gently, moving her hair out of her face. She smiles at me weakly. "Do you want to talk about it?", says Perrie gently. Jesy quickly shakes her head. "Well i'm going to go help Andre prepare dinner", I say, not too sure what to say after the room fell in to a sudden silence.
