Chapter 23

Jades POV

The second i'm sure that no one can see us, I place my lips on hers tenderly, moving away quickly. "Baby are you okay?", I say gently, grabbing her hands. I watch her smile sadly. "Yeah, it's just... Why did Simon have to make that stupid contract when we first became a band saying none of us could date", she says, not looking at me. I sigh, and rub my hand up and down her arm.

Perries POV

"Where's Jade?", says Jesy, slumping down on my bed. "I have no clue. She said she had to go buy some stuff, but she's been out hours, and she hasn't come back after the show". The anxiety starts to build up in my body again but I try to remember how independent Jade is. "But Jesy , what is it that Lee said to Jed". I look at her and the second I finish talking she answers. "She told me not to tell anyone...", she says cautiously. "Jesminda Nelson, spill". I see her sigh "Pez, I love you, but I can't. I'm sorry". I roll my eyes. "Well fine. Don't tell me but ill find out".

I pull my phone out and click Jades contact. She instantly picks up. "Jadey, where are you?"
"Good question", she says giggling uncomfortably.
"Your lost aren't you...", I mutter.
"Well, no. Okay, yes. I'm lost"
"Jade get in a taxi and tell them the address, it's getting late"
"No, i'm pretty sure I know where I am now"
"Jade. Get in a taxi", I say sternly, and she goes quiet. She then sighs in defeat. "Fine", she says, before hanging up.

"Is she seriously walking round at 10pm by herself, lost, and was just going to keep walking?", says Jesy from next to me. I nod and sigh.

The second she steps in the door I run over and wrap my arms around her, inhaling her gentle, comforting scent.  Her arms wrap around my back and when I pull away from the hug I feel her lips hungrily meet mine. I instantly kiss back, and I feel her nibble on my bottom lip. I gasp and Jade slips her toungue in my mouth, and I can sense the smirk on her face. I tangle my hands in her hair, tugging at it gently. Me and Alex always used to kiss like this, yet with Jade it was like something foreign. I feel Jade pull away and I pout. She signals her head behind me and I look back to see Jesy staring at us. When she meets our eyes she fake gags. "Well get out then before we do something I can guarantee you won't want to see", says Jade playfully. "Play it safe kids", she says before walking towards the door and leaving. I can't help but let the laugh escape my mouth, and I place some of Jades hair behind her ear. "We have a show with Ari tomorrow". I feel the nerves and excitement bubble up in my stomach. I sense something in her voice, but choose to ignore it. "We only have a few weeks left of shows now", she also says, before slumping down on our hotel bed. She lays and stares at the ceiling. Are you okay Jadey?" I sit down on the bed and I watch her close her eyes. She doesn't answer. "Jade, answer me", I plead, lying down next to her and forcing her face to meet mine. She opens her eyes slowly and I see all the colour drained from them. I try to study her face for answers, but find nothing and I watch as she hesitates. "I'm just tired", she sighs, running her hand through her hair. I give up when I realize she isn't going to say anything and I sit up, starting to take one of Jades high heals off. "You've been walking around Seattle in these all evening?", I ask, undoing the strap and letting one fall to the floor. I hear her mumble a yes, and I take the other one off in silence. I then lie down next to Jade and force her gaze to meet mine again. "I love you Pez", she says the second she sees me, her voice breaking. I feel my heart shatter as a tear falls down her face and I sit up, pulling her in to my arms. I hold her in my arms as she sobs in to my oversized jumper. I feel a tear forming in my own eyes at seeing her cry. She pulls away and her bloodshot eyes meet mine.
