Chapter 22

I don't know how they did it. I suppose they had less people to take care of and feed. Well at least I'm not alone. Summer and Scarlet are still helping train everyone when were not hunting or running or sleeping. I'm glad I have Seth with me or I would go insane. I look out over my Clan from the branch I'm seated on. I rest my head on Seth's shoulder.

"So how are we going to get there if you can't Shift again?" he asks.

"I don't know" I reply honestly.

"Maybe I could carry you" he offers.

"Nah then that would slow you down and tire you out" I say.

"I don't mind" he says winking.

"We can do that after we get back" I promise.

"If we get back" Seth corrects.

"Do you think I could get them back?" I ask him.

"Get what back?" he asks confused.

"My powers" I say quietly.

"Maybe. You did use wind to throw me across the room" he says.

"We better head out, the last hunting group just came back" I say as I watch a group of over forty wolves return to the clearing we had set up camp in. I slid off the tree and let myself fall to the ground. I bend my knees as my feet make contact with the earth, absorbing the impact.

I walk over to my Clan and stand in the middle of the large group. I feel the nervousness rise as I look around.

"All Shifters we are heading out again please pack everything and stash it somewhere safe we will return here after the battle is over to pick everything up before we head home. Please keep your weapons with you and chose your desired form for this battle and we will head out!" a cheer erupts from the crowd around me and everyone quickly packs things up and gathers the weapons. A few people Shift and some stay as a human. I begin to walk out of the clearing and everyone follows. I begin to run and so does everyone else. I keep running for almost am hour before something feels off. I slow pace down to a walk and make a call to Ivy and Blake at home.

"Kelly?" She answers.

"Tell him to disable everything and get it ready were almost there" I say and hang up the phone. I drop it on the ground an smash it with my foot so no one can trace it. I turn to my Clan. "we are close I want everyone in place. You will find letters on your weapons if you have A your with me, B's go with Summer and C's go with Scarlet" I watch as everyone looks at they're letters and finds they're appropriate groups.

"Your leaders know what to do and will explain further once you he to your stations!" I call. Summer walks one way and Scarlet the other. They're going to take they're groups an attack from different sides while my group will go inside and take them out from there. I lead the Clan to the selected spot and climb a tree.

"Anyone with a bow will shoot first before the footmen run in with they're weapons. There is a man called Colum in there don't kill him. He's mine. We will get into the thrown room and take him out while group B and C attack from the outside" I yell "the alarms are disabled so we have a better chance. Is everyone ready to take back our land?" I jump from the tree and I walk smoothly out of the forest. Three guards stand outside of a door and they all spot me instantly. One calls in on the radio attached to his shoulder while the others pull out swords.
