I hopped down the steps into the gym, following the sounds of grunts and laughter. There was a dull cadence of flesh hitting flesh, and I took a quick sniff to pick up the scents of those inside. My nose twitched when I identified them. The wolves were feeling restless, too. Taking a deep breath, I pushed through the door to find Jason and Thomas squaring off.

The redheaded male ducked Jason's punches. Thomas immediately went in to hit the master alpha in the stomach, but he managed to block. They exchanged several hard punches and kicks. I moved silently to the far edge and hopped up onto the balance beam, sitting on its ledge. I pulled the wraps from my shoulder and began to secure the material around one wrist, still watching as the two beat on one another with more force than usual.

Canaan, Daniel, and Peter stood off to one side, their bodies twitching with their excess energy. They were laughing as they watched, taking bets and supplying jabs.

Jason turned his body sideways, hitting Thomas first in the stomach to knock the air from his diaphragm. As the guard doubled over, Jason grabbed the back of the man's shirt and threw him forward onto the ground. When he went to go for the pin, Thomas rolled out of the way and was back on his feet. He came at Jason again with several punches before kicking, his foot connecting with Jason's hands as he crossed his forearms to protect his torso. Thomas punched again, but Jason had been ready. He grabbed a hold of Thomas's arm with both hands, whipping his body around and forcing Tom over his shoulder to land flat on his back.

The other three made sounds of impressed awe.

"Master Alpha, you throw much harder, you'll break my neck," Thomas laughed after a couple seconds, his voice rough from having the air knocked out of his body.

Jason grinned with a scoff and offered his hand to pull his head of security back up. "I learned from you, Tom. I'd have to say it might be your own fault."

The men all chuckled at the exchange, and I couldn't help but smirk as I finished wrapping my opposite hand. I flexed my fingers, testing the strength and flexibility of the material.

"Would Miss Serenity hazard a go?" one of the men, the brunette with a ponytail named Daniel, asked, still laughing. I paused from about to swing up to a stand on the balance beam and start stretching out my muscles. "I would be curious to see those vampire abilities in action that I've heard so much about."

I glanced over at them and grinned. "You sure about that? I kicked Tom's ass pretty badly last time."

"On a draw," Jason added, smirking. "It doesn't really count."

"It was either call a draw or let me drain Thomas dry. No offense, Tom," I said coolly before glancing at the redhead with a more true smile.

He chuckled and nodded in response, but Jason continued to stare at me.

I smirked. "Unless you're okay with me biting your neck or other sensitive places," I teased with a grin. I swung up to a stand on the beam with ease, my hands at my sides.

Thomas, Daniel, Canaan, and Peter began to laugh; but Jason remained silent with a sarcastic smile still on his lips. He was itching to say something, but refrained. Again his thoughts danced on the edge of my conscious.

"What, Jason? You not afraid to let me bite you?" I asked aloud, my voice low and breathy. I bent over in half as I talked, putting my eyes on the same level as his. I was very aware he could see my breasts peeking over the top of my sports tank. "You may actually enjoy it."

He smirked again and brought his hand up, beckoning me to join him for a round. He backed up four paces.

I stood up straight, placing my hands on my hips defiantly. "Is that an invitation?"
