~Tyler's POV~

"Thank-you" Melody said smiling up at me causing me to get lost in her eyes, as she cuddled into my chest I sat thinking about everything we've been through to get to this stage, I smiled and looked down at a now sleeping Melody. I kissed the top of her head before sliding out from under her, covering her sleeping curled up body with the quilt before making my way down stairs with a permanent smile on my face. 

"Hey" I said walking into the everything room where Elena, Stefan and Caroline are sat, "Where's Mels?" Stefan asked "asleep" I said taking a seat on a single chair "how is she?" Caroline asked "shaken up, but I think she just needs time and sleep" I said to Caroline who just nodded "I thought he changed" Elena sighed to herself "we all did" Stefan replied sighing at his brothers mistake "nobody changes they fool people into thinking they have" Melody's hard voice said from the bottom of the stairs "hey, go back to bed" I said standing and walking towards her "you woke me when you moved and I'm thirsty" she sighed leaning into my chest "go back to bed, I'll bring you some milk" I smiled causing her to nod and kiss my cheek before turning and walking back up the stairs "Knock before you come in, I'm going to get changed" she shouted back "no promises" I replied with a wink causing her to laugh lightly before walking out of eye view "what was that?" Caroline asked following me into the kitchen with Stefan and Elena following her "nothing" I said simply while pulling out a glass and the milk "you sure?" Elena asked "yup" I said before putting the milk back and taking a full glass of milk up to Melody.

"Mels" I asked knocking on the door "come in" she replied sleep obvious in her voice "hey" I smiled walking towards a curled up Melody under the quilts "hey" she smiled tiredly taking the glass of milk from me "shout if you need anything" I said before walking towards the door "Ty?" she said causing me to look back "stay with me? and I don't mean stay till I'm asleep actually stay" she said "fine" I said taking my top off and unbuttoning my jeans "woah what you doing?" she asked "Well I can't sleep in my top and Jeans and I didn't bring clothes" I said laughing slightly "right" she said before laying her head back onto the pillow so I continued taking my jeans off "Ty?" she asked once I got into bed and she cuddled up to me "yes?" I said sleepily into her hair "why did you kiss me?" she asked "Honestly?" I replied "no, Lie to me" she laughed "I have no idea, always wanted to so I did" I sighed, I felt her nod against my chest "Thank-you" she said for the second time tonight "what for this time?" I asked "for being there" she said before lifting her head up and kissing my lightly on the lips before resuming her place and falling asleep. "You're welcome" I whispered before letting the darkness take me in also.
