I Will Be Eternally Yours.

~Melody's POV~

I smiled as the sun hit me when I woke up, today felt good. It felt as if nothing could go wrong. Yes today is the last day I will be a human but I don't care, Today is a good day. I stretched as I sat up finally realising Damon wasn't beside me, I shrugged and stood and got up into the shower. I did the usually shower stuff and threw in a few songs. I got out and dried myself before pulling on my red lace underwear with matching bra and pulled on my black skinny jeans and a red tank top, to lazy to dry my hair I just put it into a plait and left it wet. Once I knew I was ready, I grabbed my phone and walked down stairs and straight to the kitchen.

I turned on the radio and Strong by One Direction "it seems as if they're only playing One Direction nowadays" Tyler's irritated voice sighed behind me causing me to laugh "oh Ty, why so poutie" I laughed before singing out the lyrics loudly causing Tyler to groan and walk out of the Kitchen only making my laughing more hysterical. I grabbed a glass of orange juice before following Tyler's direction into the everything room "morning" I smiled to the group, I got a few mumbles in return causing me to roll my eyes, "so where's the Salvatore Brothers?" I asked while placing my orange juice on the table "arguing in Stefan's room" Elena sighed causing my to raise my eye brows and walk towards the stairs and up to Stefan's room.

"I can't do this" Stefan yelled, his voice sounded strained, almost as if he was crying. I sighed before opening the door and welcoming myself in, I was welcomed by a crying Stefan and a angry Damon "what is going on?" I yelled causing them both to take a small step back, I guess they've never seen me angry "nothing, It's fine we'll be down in a second babe" Damon said trying to sound strong and sure which only made me angrier "Don't babe me, Stefan's crying which is rare and you're yelling at him" I yelled while crossing my arms over my chest "he's upset because he doesn't like what's going to happen and I'm yelling because I'm trying to get him to see that this is what you want" Damon sighed while Stefan just turned his gaze away from me "Stef" I sighed while walking up to him and taking his face in my hands "I want this, I need this. Please don't be upset, It will be okay, We'll be okay" I smiled sadly at him as he just nodded and placed his forehead on mine "I love you" he smiled as I wiped a tear from his cheek "I love you too" I smiled as we pulled apart "Damon, come with me and Stefan. Be down stairs in 10. It's happening" I smiled before me and Damon walked out the door and down stair.

"I'm ready" Stefan smiled sadly as he made his way down stairs "It'll be okay Stef" I smiled sadly, he just nodded in reply. "Is everyone ready?" I asked, everyone nodded then we all looked to Elena and Jeremy who we're filling two glasses with blood, I sighed. This is really it. "Can we go around and say something to you? You know as a kind of final word to human Melody?" Caroline asked, I thought about it before nodding. "Melody, You're the bestest friend ever, Our movie days are amazing and you've been there for me through a lot, even that time we kissed you didn't make a big deal out of it, nothing went awkward, we remained best friends and I can't even imagine what would have happened if it went awkward. I just want to say, thank-you and  I love you" Matt smiled at me "Love you too Matt" I smiled "Mels, You're a balance between us all, you get on with the boys because you're so down to earth and you like most things the boys so but then you're also like me, Girly, bubbly, funny and honestly every friend group needs that because it's how we all work so well. Also I'd like to say thanks for putting up with my constant need for shopping. I love you" Caroline laughed while tears lined her eyes threatening to spill "love you too Care" I smiled "Oh Mels, There was a breaf time that you let me into your heart after Damon broke it and I'm glad I was the one you let in. The time we spent together, the secrets we shared made us  closer and even when Damon trotted back into your life you still let me keep a place in your heart even if it wasn't as big as the part Damon occupied, I'm still there and I just wanted to say, I'm always here for you" Tyler smiled "Oh Tyler" I smiled sadly as tears threatened to spill "We was never really close, but you was still there for me when I needed you and you always accepted me with everything and I'm so proud to call you my friend" Bonnie smiled "short and sweet, like always" I smiled as a tear rolled down my face "Melody, The day I met you, I saw something in you, something that's rare and beautiful, I saw a warrior, Everyone has troubles, everyone has fears but you don't run from yours, you approach them and carry them with you no matter how scary or threatening they are, that just makes you so bright and rare. You mean so much to everyone here, in this room. You've done something individually for each of us, you gave Matt courage, you gave Caroline strength, you gave Tyler love, you gave Bonnie acceptance, You gave Elena a sister, You gave Jeremy hope, You gave Damon passion and you gave me a choice and I couldn't ask for anyone else to give me the choice, you gave me a choice to walk with my problems or run from them and that has made me a more open person. Thank-you" Stefan smiled sadly, I wiped my wet cheek and nodded through my loss for words "Mels, You're not my cousin, you're my sister. Like Stefan said, You're the only person who has helped me open up and face what needed to be faced, even that short period of time where we fell out you still helped me, you helped me realise my life is nothing without you in it. I love you" Elena cried "I love you too Lena" I smiled as she passed me the glass, I eyed the liquid  before drinking it in one quick move, I will admit it didn't taste nice but I could feel it making it's way around my body which gave me a small high kind of "Melody. Yes, I was confused when Stefan said you gave me hope but now I know what he was talking about. You gave me hope to be a better friend, I let people down and when you turned up, I hoped I could be as accepting and fearless as you and now I am, I love you" he smiled "I love you too" I laughed quietly. Finally I faced Damon, I could tell he heard my heart beat pick up because he smirked at me "I'm going to miss that sound" he sighed as a tear rolled down his face "Melody" he whispered "you don't have to say anything Damon" I sighed as I pulled him into a hug "how is it going down?" I asked when I pulled away "broken neck?" he asked to make sure I was okay with it, I nodded. He placed his hands either side of my head getting ready to break my neck, he took a shaky breath "Damon" I sighed as he looked into my eyes "After this I will be Eternally yours" I smiled, he closed his eyes and moved his hands in the necessary motion causing a sickening crack. I fell to the floor and quickly the darkness over took.
