Chapter Twenty - Set a date.

~Damon's POV~

"I'm in a new York state of mind" I heard Melody's rather load but beautiful voice sing from downstairs waking me up, I blinked the sleep out of my eyes and began my journey downstairs. When I entered the Kitchen Melody had her headphones in dancing around the kitchen in one of Jeremy's shirts unbuttoned showing her purple lace underwear. I lent against the fridge and watched Melody move gracefully. I'd never noticed but she's a really good dancer "God Damon you creep" Melody's startled voice rang out as she placed her hand over her heart "Morning" I replied trying not to look at Melody's half naked body, "It's okay to look, I do this a lot, you're just never up when I do" She chuckled before turning to finish what shes cooking in the pan on the stove "Smells good" Jeremy said while walking in the kitchen, I watched him as he looked Melody up and down "Next time ask before you use my top" He said simply before hugging Melody around the waist, kissing her on the cheek and walking upstairs "Wake them two up please" Melody shouted everything "Is it wrong to be Jealous of Jeremy when he touched your bare skin?" I asked walking closer to Melody till there was no space between us "Jeremy's hot" She stated with a wink "I know" Jeremy replied walking back in the room "Morning Mels" Stefan said taking in Melody's appearance "I hope you're going to go upstairs and change before Elena see's a half naked Melody and a shirtless Damon" He said kissing Melody on the cheek then going to butter some bread "I heard my name?" Elena sang as she strutted into the kitchen "Morning" she said carefree "Have you seen Melody and Damon's outfits?" Stefan commented "Yup." She said simply "And you're not bothered?" Stefan pressed, sometimes I just wish he's keep his mouth sealed "Nope" Elena retorted "What why?" I said at the same time as Stefan with shock filling both our voices "Well I trust Melody, I know she hates sleeping in clothes so she'll always wear one off Jeremy's shirts plus she always cooks in her underwear and doesn't get dressed till we have to go out" Elena said with a shrug "Come and get it" Melody said stepping away from  the frying pan without getting anything to eat "Why aren't you eating?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist "I'm not hungry" She stated simply trying to wriggle out off my grasp "Ever since last Sunday when you got a phone call you wouldn't tell me about" I replied stepping in her way so she couldn't go anywhere, when she noticed she had no escape she started crying, "Don't cry" I said placing a soft hand on her shoulder "I have to.." She paused "To what baby?" I encouraged, When she sniffled it caught the attention of the other three people that I forgot were in the room "I have to set a date." She said before falling to the floor with tears quickly leaving her eyes.
