~Damons POV~

"Stefan, you coming to Gilberts" I shout through the hollow halls of the bording house
"Why you going there? What are you up to Damon?" Stefan replied as if I'm always up to something
"Going to see Mels, you coming?" Without waiting for a reply knowing but the small sigh I heard he's coming I walked to my beautiful car sat in the garage

~Gilbert House~
~Melody's POV~

"Stefan and Damon are here" shouts Elena to no-one in particular
"Great" I mutter to myself while decending the stairs
"Ouch that hurt"
"Not you Stef, love ya" I reply while giving a Stefan a quick hug and standing next to Damon, me and Stefan have grown close over the short time I've been in Mystic Falls he's my bestfriend
"Oh Stef, you need to smile more or you're going to need a bigger forehead" I earned a chuckle from Elena and Damon and a glare from Stefan
"She's right" Jeremy shouts from upstairs
"Like always" replies Damon while kissing my cheak and sluming a lazy arm around my shoulder
"Desperate isn't a good luck on you Damon" I reply breifly before walking to the kitchen, Damons been trying to get me on a date for a few days since I agree to start again on out friendship

~Later that night~


"Bye Babe" says Damon while walking to his car
"Keep dreaming Salvatore" I reply while glaring dagers into his back
"I dream about you anyway" he replied with a smirk and a wink, god his ego is way to big
"Bye Stef, tell the bunnies I say hi, yano before you munch on them" I said hugging Stefan quickly, I always terrorise him about him eating bunnies, its fun to me okay!
"Sure Mels, Bye Lena, love you" Stefan says while kissing Elena's cheak
"Love you too"

"So you and Damon eh?" Says Elena while walking into the kitchen
"Don't think about it Lena, his Ego's way to big already and he doesn't even like me"
"Trust me, He does, like a lot. Just try it, don't pretend you don't like him back"
"I don't and don't lie, he'll just use me like he did Caroline"
"He can't, you're on vervain so what could go wrong?"
"Going bed now..." I try to finish the increasingly awkward conversation by rushing out of the kitchen
"Too late, pick out a dress he's picking you up at 6 tomorrow night"
"ELENA GILBERT! Are you trying to ruin my life? Gosh"
"You love me" she shouts after me
"Don't even think about Slamming your door Mels" I hear Jeremy shout from his room, oops forgot he was here so I do what anyone would do.. I slammed my door.

"The next night~

I'm wearing a red dress with a black belt, bag and shoes with a red headband and my hair loosly curled. The nights here, my date with the one and only Damon Salvatore! This should be fun
"Ding dong" I hear Damons voice from the other side of the door and with a sigh I opened the door and took in his presence and with a smirk he said "Ready?"
