Are You Considering It?

~Damon's POV~

I looked around the almost silent room, Everyone was asleep. Caroline curled up in Tyler's lap, Tyler's head falling back his mouth slightly parted, Elena and Stefan lead on the recliner cuddling into each other, Bonnie has her head in the crook of Jeremy's neck as Jeremy's head is lightly on top of Bonnie's, Matt was lead underneath some thin blankets, Finally I came around full circle to a beautifully sleeping Melody, her head was lightly on my shoulder as he hand was clenched around some fabric of my top, her plump lips were slightly parted as her light breathing making me full aware of her deep slumber. I sighed in happiness to have her back in my life, I looked back up to the film playing on the screen, Katnis just up in the helicopter thing in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I sighed knowing I couldn't get up without waking Melody up so I decided to sit and wait for the film to finish before attempting to move.

"There is no District 12" Liam spoke the last line of the film just as the credits rolled on, I began to move to stand and turn the film off completely. Just as I did "Damon?" Melody's tired voice called "hey" I smiled at her as I turned the Tele off "what you doing?" she yawned as she sat up "everyone's asleep, so I'm turning off the film then I was going to carry you to bed but you're up now" I smiled at her "you can still carry me" she yawned again causing me to chuckle lightly "fine" I sighed giving in before going over to her and picking her up bridal style "I've missed this" she smiled at me looking fully awake "believe me, I know" I smiled down at her.

We finally reached my bed room and I place Melody lightly on the bed only to cause her to sit up, I laughed before slipping out of my jeans and top before climbing under the covers next to her causing her to lie down and rest her head on my bare chest. We sat in a peacefully silence until Melody spoke "Babe, I need to ask you something?" she said hesitantly "sure?" I said keeping my eyes closed and my arm firmly wrapped around her "if I asked you to turn me would you?" she asked her breath tickling my bare chest "it depends on the situation" I sighed not wanting to think about turning Melody into a monster "why?" I asked keeping my eyes shut "I had a dream that I asked you to turn me and you did" she said "are you considering it?" I asked finally opening my eyes only to see Melody staring back at me "maybe" she shrugged tearing her gaze from me "why?" I asked again "because eventually I'm going to grow old and I don't want to loose you" she sighed "I know baby" I kissed her head "I know" I sighed before letting the darkness take me over.
