Maddy's POV
Me and Abbey followed Matthew into the cafeteria for the morning breakfast. I knew Abbey had a thing for Matthew, she always has. He was in her shop class in 7th grade and she never forgot him. I also thought he was cute, but i needed to move on because i knew they both had a thing for each other.
We entered the cafeteria and Matt led us to a small circle of guys. He introduced us to them and i caught the eye of one in particular. His name was Taylor Caniff. He was totally hot, i cant believe i had never seen him. Matt told us he was actually a new kid and they were neighbors. Taylor must have moved in over the summer.
"Hey," he said to me.
"Hey," i replied trying to keep my cool. After all he was the hottest guy i have ever seen.
"How did u meet matthew?" He asked me.
"O uh... We meet on the bus this morning. What about you?" I said hiding the fact about the pedo guy.
"I just moved here over the summer and he was my next door neighbor. We instantly became best friends."
"Almost the exact same thing happened to me in 7th grade. I moved here and Abbey became my best friend, she was also my next door neighbor."
"O wow so i guess u know how it feels to start off fresh at a new school with only one friend."
"Yeah i guess. Everything worked out though, she showed me all of her friends and I made new ones. I guarantee u wont have trouble making friends," i continued," if u ever feel lonely give me a call."
And i slipped a piece of paper into his hand with my number in it. The bell rang and i headed to class, leaving him stunned standing there.
