Chapter 7

Matthew's POV

Me and Abbey were getting on the Farris wheel. The worker opened the bar and i helped abbey sit down. I sat right up next to her since it was a small little car. The ride stared and we both smiled. I looked at her and she looked back into my eyes.

I rapped my arm around her resting it on the back of the seat. She held my other hand as we went around and around. Of course the ride had to stop when we were on the very top. I reached over and pecked her cheek. Abbey just smiled and looked out at the amazingly lit city. She looked so beautiful and i loved her.

Abbey's POV

Me and matt were walking to the car after we were done at the fair. It was pretty late like midnight and it was closing. On the way i bumped into my friend Yolonnie. Ive known her forever it seems like, she was in my dance class. "YOEY!" I said to her. "ABBEY!" She said back. Ive missed her since we were on a break from dance in August. "Ooh who's this cutie?" She asked me looking over at Matthew.

I didn't know what to say actually. Me and matt never really talked about if we were like dating yet. "I came on a date with him here. His name is Matthew i know him from school." I looked over at him and he seemed fine with what i said. Not awkward at all. "Hey nice to meet you," he said to Yolonnie. She replied "yeah you too. Well ill let you guys go. Have fun!!"

"We will!" I said back to her and gave her a hug. "I cant wait to see you back at dance, text me sometime." I backed up closer to matt. "Definitely, bye." She said. "Bye," i called as she walked away.

"I didn't know you did dance class." Matthew said as we walked closer to the car. "Oh yeah I've been in ballet, hip hop, tap, and jazz since i was 8." I replied. "Thats awesome ill have to watch you sometime." He said nudging my shoulder. I nudged him back slightly giggling.

We got to the car and saw that Maddy and Taylor were already in the back seat. I leaned in and looked through the window... They were making out!! "Well look what we have here," i said to Matthew and we both looked at each other awkwardly. We both laughed and i asked him what we should do. "We have to get home sometime and who knows how long they have been in there. Im apologize tomTaylor in advance but we gotta go." Matt knocked on the window closest to Taylor.

Matthew's POV

Maddy and Taylor stopped and he opened he door. "Hey there guys." I said smiling. "Haha hey," maddy laughed. "Ill drive you, stay back there taylor," I said as Taylor handed me the keys. I drove Maddy home first, then abbey. I walked her to the door and Taylor stayed in the car.

"Well thanks for coming," i told her.

"Thanks for taking us." She said looking down and twisting her foot.

I lifted her chin and made her look me in the eyes. I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Abbey?" I asked.

"Yes matt." She said giving me a smile.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I finally asked her. I was so nervous and i hope she couldn't tell.

"Yes matt i always hoped you'd ask me that someday," she said as she leaned in to kiss me.

Our lips touched and i new she was the one. Ive been awaiting this moment forever. We just kissed we didn't make out or anything, we weren't ready for that. She rubbed her hands up my back all the way to my neck. She ran her fingers through my hair and i rubbed her back. I pulled away and pecked her one last time on the neck. I saw her reaction and she was stunned. That last kiss gave her the chills. We said goodbye and she entered her house. I was sad she left, but after that kiss i know she will be coming back for more.

I got back in the car and drove to my house. I got out and said bye to taylor. He got in the drivers seat and drove himself home. Tonight was the best night of my life.
