Matthews POV

I woke up and it was christmas eve. I also remembered it was me and abbeys 4 month anniversary today. I got out of bed and texted her.

Text Convo

Me--- good morning love ❤️😘 happy 4month anniversary!!

Abbey--- hey babe...and happy anniversary and also merry christmas eve! 🎄🎁🎅

Me--- merry christmas eve!! 🎁🎁🎅🎅🎄🎄

Abbey--- will i be able to see you tonight?

Me--- well of course babe.... ❤️.... I am going to take you to lunch today for our anniversary. And i wanted to know if you would come eat diner tonight with my family.

Abbey--- i would love to!! 😘 about what time?

Me--- lunch 11:30... Diner 7:00

Abbey--- ok ill see you then. I love you!💜💋

Me--- bye babe ill see you soon 💚💏

Abbey--- goodbye handsome 💕💖

Abbeys POV

That last text always made me smile. Oh em gee I'm so excited for tonight!! It was 8:30 so i had 3 hours till our date. I ate breakfast and told my parents about all the plans. I wanted to make sure i still spent time with them on christmas, so i was glad we were doing this today. It was about 9:00 and i got in the shower. After i got out i curled my hair loosely but using my natural curls. I put on my makeup and picked out my outfit.

I decided to wear a beige knit sweater with skinny jeans, some jewelry and black Uggs. I was gonna wear this for our date and be more casual, but for diner i was gonna dress more fancy.

By now it was 11:00 and i couldn't hold in my excitement!

Oh crap!! I just remembered i need to wrap Matthew's present. I went up into my room and got the box out of my closet. I wrapped it in blue wrapping paper with little snowflakes on it. I put s big blue bow for decoration. I checked my phone and it was 11:25. Matt should be here any sec.

Sure enough at 11:30 on the dot. I feel like he waits outside the door until the exact time. I thought this was soooo cute. He rang the door bell and stood there holding a single red rose. He was wearing a blue and white plaid button up from Hollister, with dark blue jeans and blue vans. I pulled him into a hug.

I whispered "i love you" into his ear. He whispered "i love you too" in my ear and kissed behind it ever so gently.

This gave me the chills! I pulled away and told my parents goodbye. We got in his car and drove away. He wouldn't tell me where we were going, it was a surprise.
