Chapter 33 - strange noises

Matthew's POV

Abbey and i stayed laying there outside for a while until we heard something. It was maddy and taylor.

"Ah shit it's getting real," i said unzipping the sleeping bag.

"Aaaahhhhh!" Abbey yelled when she heard it too.

I stood up and got out of the sleeping bag. I put out my had for abbey to grab it, she did and i helped her up.

"I can't sit hear and listen to this. Let's go in the tent and like listen to music or something." I said looking at Abbey, I couldn't see her that well because it was dark. I used the moonlight and stars to see.

"Good idea," abbey said and grabbed my hand. We ran to the boys tent because i didn't want to accidentally walk in on Madisen and Carter.

As soon as we got in the tent i zipped it quickly and grabbed my phone. I plugged in a little connector thing so more than on set of headphones could be plugged in. I just put on the first song i could find. We listened to music and cuddled for a while...

I heard something outside the tent and saw it like shaking. I pulled my headphones out and stood up. "Matt... Abbey are you guys in there?" I heard carter say from outside the tent.

"Yeah," i said as i unzipped it. Carter and Madisen were standing outside the tent and i motioned them to come in. Abbey was sitting up and was laughing...

"Do u guys hear them? " Madisen asked and abbey and i both nodded.

"Do u wanna come in the other tent with us? We need to talk or something i cant even hear myself think listening to them." Carter said and abbey stood up.

"Yeah let's go," abbey said and grabbed my phone and the headphones.

So all four of us ran to the other tent and when we got there we were all laughing. We sat in a little circle but abbey was laying with her head in my lap. We played truth or dare for a while when this came up...

"I dare abbey to kiss Matthew's neck 3 times," Madisen said.

I felt all nervous at first. I mean it wasn't our first time like doing this, it was the first time in front of people though. Abbey gave me a hesitant look but i leaned back tilting my head so my neck was exposed to reassure her it was okay. It was funny too because the song "lights down low" was on in the background. We had it loud so we wouldn't hear maddy and taylor, and it was kinda a sexy song.

Abbey sat up and got on her knees, i was sitting criss cross leaning back on my hands. She wobbled over close to me on her knees and leaned into my neck. She kissed my neck two times and on the last one she kissed it as if she was French kissing someone. I closed my eyes because... Well i don't know why i just naturally did and when I opened my eyes Madisen and Carter were like staring with wide eyes.

It was time to get them back, "truth or dare?" Abbey asked carter. She made them kiss with their eyes wide open because it would be funny watching that.

Like 30 mins later we decided to check on maddy and taylor. We got out of the tent and walked over to the food table, we drank some Arizona and ate some gummy bears. There were no more "strange noises" (haha) coming from their tent so it was all good.

Later we were all sitting and talking when we heard the little tent unzip. Taylor and maddy kissed and started to walk back to the girls and boys tents. They couldn't see us though because it was super dark and they were like sneaking back.

"Aye not so fast!" Carter yelled to them.

The stopped and both just froze. They looked at each other and started to walk toward us. Madisen and Carter started clapping for them because of what they did. Me and abbey stayed quite. She was sitting in my lap and we had a blanket wrapped around us.

I whispered in her ear as Madisen and Carter where cheering, "it's no oscar...I don't think it was that great of an achievement."

She didn't say anything she just laughed and turned around to kiss my cheek. After she kissed my cheek she whispered into my ear, "don't worry, we will do that someday."

I kissed her forehead and she turned back around. Then maddy and taylor started talking to Madisen and carter but me and abbey kept to ourselves. She was now still sitting in my lap just straddling me and facing me, I started to play with her hair and i took it out of the braid. I tried to redo the braid and she was giving me instructions but i was having troubles. She laughed at me and said, "no like this," and she grabbed my hand and moved it in the right direction.

I just stopped and let her do it herself, and i watched her. When she finished and put the hair tie back in she looked up and saw me staring at her. She didn't say anything because she knew what I was thinking by the expression on my on my face. She was amazing, beautiful and i loved her, and she could see it.

She leaned in and kissed me hard, she wrapped her hands around the back of my head and pulled on my hair a little. I wrapped my hands around her waist and kept going back, i grabbed her butt and kissed her back. We made out for a minute until she pulled away and stood up. She grabbed my hand and pulled me up out of my chair, we started walking towards the light. I noticed then that everyone was gone. There was a light in the boys tent though so i guessed everyone was in there, they must have left us to give us some privacy.

We weren't out there for a long time, maybe 2 minutes. Anyways we entered the tent and i was right, everyone was in there. We got in the tent and they were sitting and talking. Maddy said when we walked in, "there's our two love birds." Madisen laughed.

"Yup." Abbey said and we sat down in the corner of the tent.

Everyone got quite and i spoke up, "soo.... Whats up?"

"Ehhh nothing just chillin," Taylor said.

All six of us hung out and talked. I laid down after a whole because I was tired, abbey followed me and we laid there together as we talked with everyone. Everyone else laid down as well under a ton of blankets. Maddy and taylor were laying close and i think she was holding him underneath the blankets i couldn't tell. Madisen and Carter were laying close but both of them were asleep and i don't think they were holding each other, but they were close.

Maddy fell asleep next, then taylor, and abbey and i were the last ones up. She was laying facing away from me and i was up on my elbow leaning over her. My other arm was around her waist, she lifted it and kissed my hand repeatedly. I started to stroke her hair as she fell asleep, i kept doing it for a while after she drifted to sleep though.

I kissed the back of her head and laid down. I fell asleep with her in my arms.
