As the author of My Fallen Angel, let me tell you that this is my favorite chapter. <3 :"> Anyways, here's the story.

I woke up and yawned. "Good morning, me," I said. I glanced at the calendar hanging at my wall. I frowned. It's already Friday. It's been three days. Patrick and I hadn't talked to each other after he invited me in Prom and told me we're going to have a date in Friday night. Suddenly, I got up in a bolt, my eyes widening. Today is Friday. And later... it would be our date.

I have no dress.

Oh no, oh no, oh no. I definitely screwed up! Charisse and Aeriel knew about my date with him and I got two different answers and reactions.

Charisse had told me, "That's good! It will make it easier for you to change his ways. You can help him in that date. And if you could make him good again, you'll be back in Heaven in no time!"

But Aeriel had angrily said, "Good? Of course this is not good! Patrick won't ask Kate in a date if he doesn't like her! What if a romance would bud? What will happen then, huh? Human males are so tempting! It would be most likely that Kate would fall in love with him."

The minute she said that, I got really defensive. "What if I did?" I had asked.

Charisse had raised her eyebrows. "You wouldn't fall in love... would you?" she had asked.

I just shrugged and let the subject drop.

I snapped back to reality when I heard a knock from my door. "Kate, you better wake up!" a familiar voice called. Charisse. "Fix yourself up and then go downstairs. I have something to show you."

"Okay," I said in response.

I jumped out of bed and half-dragged myself at the bathroom. After taking a shower, I changed to my clothes. I opened my closet and looked at my outfits. Aeriel and I shopped yesterday for clothes and bought a lot of cute stuff. However, Charisse kind of frowned at Aeriel's clothes. She said that Aeriel must not be vain as she picked a mini skirt. Aeriel just shrugged, snatched the mini skirt from Charisse's hands and stormed to her room.

Maybe I shouldn't tell Charisse about the mini skirt I will wear today.

After I got dressed (little pink skirt, white short-sleeved button down blouse and a headband with a pink bow), I went downstairs and saw Charisse eating pancakes with Aeriel. Aeriel was wearing a flowy top, a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and black flats. She raised an eyebrow at my outfit. "Nice outfit," she commented.

Charisse just rolled her eyes. "Whatever with your skirt, Kate," she said. Then she beamed and picked up a big rectangular box. "Open it."

"Why are you giving me this?" I asked, holding the box.

"For your first formal date," Aeriel said.

I opened the box and gasped. Inside was a long white gown. I really can't explain how it look likes. It was the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. (If you really are wondering what Kate's gown looks like, click on External Link at the right.) "Oh my," I muttered. "Why..."

"I bought it," Aeriel said, smiling. "But it was Charisse's money. We had shopping yesterday, remember? While you were in the comfort room, I sneaked out to buy this. I kind of reserved this secretly. I hope you like it."

"Like it?" I repeated. "No, Aeriel, I love it!"

Aeriel grinned. "You do?" she said. "Thanks! I really like the dress, by the way. It would look beautiful on you. And... here, you should have this." She rummaged into her bag and grabbed a black clutch. "It matches your dress."
