My parents left about an hour ago and I am just sitting on the couch watching tv. Tal said he'd be here around 2.30 PM and it's 10 'o clock now, so I still got some time for cleaning up the house. I sigh, turn off the tv and head upstairs to get dressed. Or sort of dressed. It's summer vacation and I don't have to leave the house, so I'm not bothering to put a lot of effort into my look. I put on sweatpants and a crop top with a top bun. It's comfortable, it will do.

I put my earphones in and play some of my favorite music. I start cleaning while singing and dancing along to the songs. I clean my room and after that I head back downstairs to tidy up the living room and kitchen. I end up dancing more than actually cleaning, but the fact I actually tried to clean a bit is nearly a miracle. Well, not nearly. It's a complete miracle.

In the middle of one of my favorite songs, my music suddenly stops. I look at my phone and see Tal calling me so I pick up. 'Yes, what's up, Tal?' 'How loud were your earphones playing?' he asks. 'Not that loud, why are you asking and how did you know I was wearing earphones? Are you actually a stalker?' 'Well, first of all I think you put the music on your earphones pretty loud. Secondly, just because I rang the doorbell a few times and I am standing right in front of your house for about fifteen minutes now. Third, didn't you already know I'm secretly a stalker? And lastly, have you ever thought about becoming a professional dancer?' he asks and laughs. I roll my eyes and feel my cheeks getting a bit red when I look out the window and see Tal. I see him smiling back at me and waving.

I hang up the phone and stop my music before walking to the door. I just stand in front of the window in the door and look through it. Tal is on the other side. I am thinking about whether I should open the door or not but I don't have any reason not to open the door except for me needing to change my outfit so I just open it.

'How loud was your music playing again?' he asks me after he gave me a quick hug. 'What are you saying? I can't hear you. Maybe you should speak louder', I answer and laugh. He laughs with me and I see his eyes light up. Why do I even notice that? I

A few hours later we literally haven't done anything yet, except for sitting on the couch and watching Netflix. And Tal putting his bag in the hallway while I take out my earphones. We have been so productive. Not.

'Do you want a glass of water?' I ask Tal. Yes please', he answers, looking into my eyes for a second before looking back at the tv. Ugh. Why can't I have pretty eyes? I really would want his eyes. So pretty and blue-green like the sea- wait. Let's stop it right there, Julia. I shake my head and stand up to get two glasses of water; one for me and one for him. I give him his glass and sit down while he mumbles a thanks.

After I am watching the show again I feel something on my hand, very softly. I look at my hand that is resting on the sofa and I see a enormous spider! I scream and jump up, while Tal is looking confused and curious at the same time, mixed with a bit of concern. I couldn't care less about the look on his face though. My eyes are focused on the spider, who is now sitting on the couch. Like he didn't scare the hell out of me. I am literally feeling my hands start to shake. This is adrenaline, right? I don't really like it right now. 'What was that?' Tal asks.

'Thereisahugespideranditjustcraweledovermyhandgetitoutofmyhousehelp!' is my answer. Tal looks confused. 'And now in English?' he asks. I point at the sofa, where I just sat. 'Spider crawled on hand get out of house', I scream while trying to speak more calmly, which isn't really working, then realizing it still is not really English but oh well. Right now I am too shocked and scared I can't talk or think properly. Tal stands up to look at the place where I just sat. 'It's not that big. I'll get it out for you', he says calmly.

How can he be so calm when there iS A FREAKING HUGE SPIDER ON MY COUCH IN MY HOUSE AND IT JUST CRAWLED ALL OVER MY HAND? My brain isn't really functioning that well right now. He grabs a glass from the kitchen and catches the spider underneath. Then I hand him, still trembling very badly, a piece of paper so he can trap the spider. After he catches it he flips the glass upside-down so the spider is trapped in the glass.

Then he opens our front door and releases it outside and after that he walks back in with the glass and paper in his hand. He places those on a table and walks up to me. 'Are you ok?' he asks with half a smile. 'Not really', is my answer. I am sitting on the couch now, my legs probably wouldn't function properly. I would lie if I say I'm ok. I'm still trembling and close to tears. 'Come here', he says, before wrapping his arms around me in a long hug.

Now I'm starting to think maybe the spider did me a favor. Because of that little annoying bug, I am now in a position I don't mind that much. That is an understatement. I want to sit like this forever, but forever is so long and final- maybe I should stop overthinking stuff this much. And just enjoy the moment.
