I stare at the wall. Then I turn and look at the ceiling. I can't sleep. I'm happy I'm home and I thought with that would come a good night's sleep. But no. I probably slept way too much today because of the 12-hour delay. And I miss Tal. I'm so close, yet so far away from him.

I grab my phone from my nightstand and send him a text. 'I miss you.' I know it's been like fifteen minutes since our phone call, but that doesn't stop me. I put my phone away again and start looking at the ceiling. Again. I hear my phone make a noise. My heart rate quickens. Could it be Tal?

I turn my phone around revealing it actually is Tal. I smile. 'I miss you too, babe.' He is online. Awake. I smile. 'Weird question, but can we meet? Please? I just need a hug?' I text him. 'The park, our bench, ten minutes?' I get as a reply. 'Hell yes.' A smile seems to appear on my face out of nowhere.

I jump out of bed and put on some decent clothes. Well, I just put on long sports leggings and a huge sweater to keep me somewhat warm. I quickly put on some sneakers, the first pair I can find and tie them. I put my hair up in a half-decent bun so my hair is out of my face. I slowly open the door and look down the hallway to see if the light in my parents' room is still on. It isn't. That means they're probably asleep. Can't blame them, it's about 2 AM now. I don't even know the time.

I softly close the door behind me and tiptoe down the stairs. I debate on writing a note for my parents when I'm downstairs. It's best if I do, my mom will get really stressed otherwise. I quickly scribble that I'm taking a walk. Always a good excuse for being away. I grab my keys and close the door as softly as I can.

I start walking to the park, but I keep walking quicker and quicker. I arrive at the park within minutes. Way faster than I usually do. I look around to see if I can find Tal, but I don't. The park is empty, so I would see him if he was here.

My heart is racing so fast right now, it's probably not even healthy anymore. It's about to explode if I have to wait any longer. I want to check my phone, but I didn't bring it with me. I'm so stupid. What if he canceled on me? What if he just said he can't come?

All of a sudden, I see someone jogging up the path. I recognize Tal, even from this distance. The street lanterns illuminate his face, giving him a yellowish glow. My mouth automatically turns to a huge grin. That's my boyfriend. Mine.

My legs start running towards him. He notices me and jogs faster in my direction. It feels like I am running for ages, while it can't possibly have been longer than a few seconds. He opens his arms, ready to catch me and I run into them. I wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. We fall to the ground because of the impact. I don't even remember falling. We lay there on the ground for a few minutes, him with his arms around my waist tightly and me with my arms around his neck and feet tangled around his body.

After a few seconds, which felt like minutes –the time isn't working properly right now– we stand up again. Him first, then holding a hand out to me. I gladly take it and the second I am on my two feet again, I wrap my arms around him. I won't get tired of him that easily.

The only problem is that I don't want to let him go, but I can barely breathe. Because of my height, I am hugging his chest, which is nice, but I don't get that much oxygen. My heavy breathing from the nerves and running isn't completely gone. I jump up and wrap my legs around him. 'I missed you', I whisper into his neck. 'You don't even know how much I missed you. Ask Adi.' I smile into his neck because of this comment.

His hands are on my lower back and mine are around his neck. I know Tal can't hold me like this forever, but I wish he could. I take my head out of his neck to just admire his beautiful face. He has a smile on his face and even in this dim and yellow light, I can see he has gotten a tan. I kiss him on his cheek.
