Tal's pov
I'm so happy I met Julia at that resort introduction thing. I don't even know what it was for, don't think anyone paid attention to the people on stage. They stopped trying to get attention after a while, like they gave up. I'd give up too, if there were so many teenagers just minding their own business.
Julia is really beautiful. She looks exotic, even though she could be considered average. She most definitely isn't. Well, okay, she has got brown hair like most of the world, but her eyes. Her eyes are a deep green color and seem to brighten with her smile.
I sound like such a stalker. I've known her for about two days and my mind is already telling me I should ask her out. But if I do, there is quite a big chance she'll reject me. I should probably wait. Or I should get to know her better first. I should get her to like me back. But before all that, I should stop thinking so much. I'm making myself crazy.
I am pretty happy that I asked Adi for advice for once in my life. I didn't know my little brother could think of a good plan, but this was a rare example of a very good one. The idea was, he bumps into Julia, I catch her and ask for her number. The plan will work out perfectly, I think while I am walking into the store. I see Julia standing next to the bread section and she grabs a bread to take with her. She is slowly starting to walk away again, taking her time.
I take a deep breath and walk behind her, so she won't notice me. Then, Adi bumps into her and she loses her balance. I quickly walk up to her and wrap my arm around her waist, preventing her from falling on the ground. 'You ok?' I try to sound casual. My voice doesn't crack so I think that's a win.
In the corner of my eye, I can see Adi send a wink at me and he walks out of the store.
'Yeah, I'm fine, thanks', she replies. I know she isn't, she looks rather confused. I ask for her number and this time, she gives it to me. The last aspect of the plan worked out as well.
After we exchanged numbers, I can't help but look at her while she walks away. She's really cute. I head back to our mobile home. When home, my mother asks where I have been. 'At the camping shop with Adi, why?' I tell her. 'Why was Adi back faster than you were?' 'I don't know, he didn't wait for me', I say and I try not to turn red. 'I'm going outside, bye!' I say to flee the situation and I head outside.
It's warm today. I walk to the reception of the resort and ask for a folder with the prettiest places in the resort. Maybe I'll need it. I decide to walk around the resort a bit. In the introduction, they said something about the beach, something about there being a secret cove or something.
I open up the folder and turn some pages until I find it. A picture of a tiny secret beach. There is a little text and warning next to the picture. The playground is next to the reception so I simply sit down on the first bench I see, which happens to be a part of the playground so I can read the folder. I scan the page, which seems to only list the good parts about it, until I see a little text with a warning.
After I read the text warning you not to swim too close to the rocks, I look at the children playing at the playground. A little boy is chasing a girl. The girl runs away for him and looks around a few times to see if he is still chasing her. She is laughing. Suddenly, the girl gets caught by the little boy. Then the roles switch. They are playing tag. I watch them for a few minutes an then I leave to head back to the little house we're staying in.

So this part was a part of the story through Tal's eyes. I just wanted to let you know that if there isn't anything about a pov, it's Julia's point of view. Hope you like it!
