I'm just staring at the ceiling. Thinking about Tal. My suitcase is all packed up for tomorrow. I did that pretty fast, considering I usually have way more time. I look over to the side of the bed and I see my phone laying on the nightstand next to my bed. I want to call Tal, but I'll probably seem too clingy. Struggles.

I decide to text Meredith. I ask her how it's going and what she did today. I had tried to call her but due to the time difference, we kept missing each other's calls. She doesn't respond. I place my phone down next to me again. And start thinking about Tal. Again.

I close my eyes, bringing up the memories of when we were watching Netflix right here. I smile at the thought. I hear the doorbell ring, but don't react. My mom will probably open the door. I get back lost in my thoughts. Until I hear a knock on my door a few seconds later.

I sit up. 'Who's there?' 'A ghost.' I hear a very familiar voice say. I jump up and run the few steps to the door. I open it and see Tal standing there. The door hasn't been open for a second, but I immediately wrap my arms around him.

I know I sound dramatic, but I really missed him. I let him out of my hug a few seconds later and he grabs my hand. I close the door and then I kiss him. Like I missed him. Which I did. He smiles into our kiss. I'll just keep repeating I missed him, for the dramatic effect.

'You couldn't miss me for a few hours?' he asks me with a smirk after we pull apart. 'Well, no. I'm probably not going to survive these three weeks without you.' He smiles at that statement and pulls me into another hug. 'You're such a drama queen.' 'I'm not. I had a valid excuse.' 'Sure you did', I hear him whisper in my ear.

I pull him even tighter. 'Why did you come?' I whisper. He lets go of me so I follow his lead, sad that I'm missing his warmth now. 'Two reasons. One, I had to say goodbye to my lovely girlfriend. And two, I was going to offer to drive you to the airport tomorrow. As in, you and your parents.'

I nod. Seems reasonable. I place a kiss on his cheek. 'Admit it, you missed me too', I say. 'If that's what helps you sleep at night, keep dreaming that.' 'I can't dream if I'm not asleep. And I can't sleep until you tell me you missed me too.' 'Well, in that case, I missed you too. Wouldn't want your precious little face getting too little sleep.'

I smile. So thoughtful and sweet. 'So shall I offer my driving skills to your parents?' I give him one more peck on his soft lips. 'Yes, now we can go.' He smiles down at me and then follows me out the door.

When downstairs, I hear my parents discussing which cities we're going to visit. I squeeze Tal's hand, just to be sure he's still there. My dad notices us. 'Hey kids. What do you want money for this time, Julia?' I laugh. 'Nothing dad. Well, if you'd buy me an Italian villa it would be nice but only if you get me those Prada shoes that match with the villa as well.' My dad laughs with me.

'No, seriously, what did you want to ask?' my dad asks us sincerely. I squeeze Tal's hand as a matter of reassurance. I look up at him while he starts speaking. 'Well, I'd like to offer to drive you to the airport. That way you wouldn't have to use the public transport or waste money on a taxi.'

'And so you could see Julia for longer', my mom says. I blush. Couldn't she be a bit more thankful and a bit less suspicious for once? 'Well, yes that may have played a part in that decision.' I look up at Tal again. He is smirking down at me. We probably shouldn't be doing that in front of my parents. Dangerous grounds we have found ourselves upon.

'But it does mean you'll have to wake up at around 5. Isn't that a bit dramatic?' my mom asks. That sounded more like concern. 'No, if it would help you, I'd gladly.' 'We could also ask someone else to drive. The idea is good. But  I don't like the feeling of being so dependent on you.' Well mom, suspicion isn't going to get you far. Plus, Tal's just trying to help. Can't she see that?

'What if he'd just drive our car back? Then he'd just be in our car while one of you drove and on the way back, he'd drive our car home.' I can see by the look on his face my dad is persuaded. He doesn't really like the public transport. My mom isn't convinced, though. 'I don't like trusting him with such a big responsibility of bringing our car home', my mom says to my dad. But I can see by the look on my dad's face he doesn't mind.

'Mom, seriously? Tal's just trying to help! Let him if he wants to.' My mom sighs shortly. More like breathes in deeply and out very quickly.

'Well, okay. Thank you very much for the offer, Tal. We'd gladly accept it. Is it ok if you drive our car back? Are you ok with that? Are your parents okay with that?' And suddenly she cares. I'm very tempted to roll my eyes right now. But I don't. I put on a fake smile. Tal sends a small smile to my parents and then follows me, because I already left the room.

I open the back door after grabbing a key. Tal follows me and softly closes the door behind him. In the meanwhile, I'm already seated on the grass behind the house. It's just behind some bushes, so if you stay low, you can't be seen from the house. I lie down, knowing that. The grass is slightly damp, but I don't mind and Tal doesn't seem to either, since he sits down next to me.

'I'm so sorry for my mom. You were just trying to help and she was acting totally unreasonable. She doesn't even care about our car! That thing is my father's. And he was easily persuaded, but my mom not. Why would-' I get interrupted because of the feeling of Tal's lips on mine.

'Your mom is careful and looking out for you. It's not totally unreasonable. She cares about you.' 'Hmm nice caring, almost turning down the most adorable taxi driver ever.' Tal seems to be blushing but I can't be sure because it's pretty dark and I'm not able to distinguish colors very good anymore.

Then he lies down next to me. 'You would make an even more adorable driver.' 'Isn't possible. I already said you were the most adorable one ever.' I look over at him, to find him already studying my face. 'But you are even adorabler.' 'That isn't even a word.' 'That's how adorable you are.'

We're so close, yet it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. The silence we're met with is comfortable as well. I move even closer to his face than I already was. I can feel our lips slightly touching. When I notice Tal going in for a kiss, I lean back. 'Not this time, you tease', he mumbles before he smoothly positions himself to hovering above me.

I smirk at him. 'What you gonna do about it?' 'Give you a little kiss', he says before he tries to place his lips on mine. I giggle and I place my hands on my mouth. He notices and proceeds to place tiny kisses on my hands. I realize he gets what he wants like this. So I decide to put my hands on his mouth. I grin at him, feeling as if I'd won. But all of a sudden he licks my hand. I let his mouth go immediately. 'Ew, you animal', I giggle. He just whispers 'rawr' softly and then tries to kiss me again.

Tal tries to lean in to kiss me once more but I place my hands on my own mouth again, teasing him. He shakes his head at smiles at me. Then he balances on one hand so he can remove my hands from my mouth with the other. I let him take my hands off my mouth. He lets my left and go but pins my right hand to the ground with his left. His grip is firm but doesn't hurt.

'Are you trying to cut off my blood circulation?' I ask him, teasing him again. He looks slightly worried and lets my hand go. He is still hovering above me. Where does he get that strength from? Can I borrow some? I promise I won't give it back.

I've got both of my hands free from his grip again. I smile and use them to grab his face with both hands, pulling him closer to me. 'You're the most adorable driver. Period', I say before I close the gap between us and I can feel his perfect lips on mine.

Everything around me melts away; the slightly damp yet comfortable grass, the stars above him, the nearly-full moon, all suddenly gone. All I can feel are his lips. All I can see is him. And I don't mind one bit.
