In that moment I wasn't sure if I should be concerned or not. Well I mean of course I should be concerned, but Aster is awake and that's a good thing right? If it was a good thing, why did it feel like my world was crashing around me all over again?
I collapsed onto the floor with my back leaning up against the wall. I watched intently as the nurses rushed around behind the curtained windows.
"Josh, what's going on?" Tyler worriedly as he noticed I actually left Aster's room.
"She woke up." I said bluntly.
"Oh my god Josh! Why aren't you in there?" Jenna said excitedly.
"I don't know. I don't know what they're doing, but I've been sitting here for at least fifteen minutes."
"Why are you so," Tyler paused trying to find a correct word, "grey?"
"Because I don't know if she's okay."
