Chapter 17

Day 13 - Moving On Operation

I forgot about what happened yesterday. It's not worth to think about.

I was about to stand up for school pero my body resisted. Bumalik parin ako sa higaan and layed my ass off. This is the best thing na pwedeng mangyari during weekdays. Relaxation.

I closed my eyes kasi 5:30 palang when suddenly may narinig akong notification sa twitter. Wow, I am loved.

Nakapikit parin ako while getting my phone sa side-table. I opened one eye then checked who it was.

And for Pete's sake it was Luke! Nag-dm siya saakin, gosh.

I checked it and it says, "Please, meet me at the park. You're next class starts at 9 right? Please."

And it seems like he was broken once again. I immediately packed my self up at kumuha ng isang bread at tumakbo na papunta sa park.

Ayos ba 'tong outfit ko? Jacket, shorts and slippers? That's fine, Lelay!

When I arrived at the park I saw Luke sitting on the swing, nakayuko, "You dmed me? What happened?"

Hindi siya sumagot but I could hear him sobbing. He was rubbing his eyes pero hindi parin siya nagsasalita.

"Luke?" I called out his name. "I-I'm sorry. Did I bother your sleep?"

"Honestly, oo. But who cares, we're friends. It seems like you're having a problem, ano 'yon?"

Nagulat nalang ako nang yinakap niya ako. Umalis siya sa swing niya at lumuhod sa harap ko at umiyak sa lap ko. I was wondering why, but I felt broken too.

My hands stroked his hair and making him calm down, "Shh, what happened?"

Hindi niya parin inaangat ang ulo niya at nagsalita, "J-jul...ia."

I couldn't barely understand what he's saying but enough for me to hear it clearly. It was Julia once again.

"What did she do this time?" Tanong ko na direstuhan. "I saw her, Domingo. I saw her. And she was happy."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Luke, ibig-sabihin nandito si Julia sa pilipinas? Kaya ba gusto ni Luke na lumipat para maiwasan niya si Julia? Is that it?

"T-tapos?" I was lost in words.

"I saw her with someone. And she was Goddamn happy. Fuck it."

Umiiyak parin siya. Wala akong masabi. Eto ang weakness ko, I couldn't form the right words when it comes to serious situations. I was just silent.

"She returned into my life. She just had to ruin it. She left me broken and she's breaking me down once more. I couldn't handle it.. Couldn't handle the pain."

Hindi ko alam pero nagsalita ako, "Saan mo siya nakita?"

"She went to my house," He said lifting his head. "With her boyfriend.."

He sobbed once more at palagi niyang sinasabing para daw siyang bakla sa mga nangyayari ngayon. Sinasabi niya na ang hina hina daw niya pagdating kay Julia.

Siya ang unang lalaki na nakita kong ganito. Ganito magmahal. Yung tipong hindi madaling maka-let go. At mahirap yun sa parte niya.

"A-ano na ang gagawin mo?" Ewan ko pero yun ang lumabas sa bibig. Curiosity. Ano na ang plano niya ngayon?

"I want to leave earlier."

Five words and it hit me hard.

"Nagbibiro ka?" I said laughing. But I stopped laughing when he said, "No.."
