Chapter Ten - Part Two

Ren -

I woke up to the sound of a car parking outside the window. I looked over to the couch to see it was empty.

I quickly glanced around in hopes of finding a sign of Ethan but I saw nothing. I laid back, thinking maybe it was him in the car. I tracked the sound of the person as they opened the door, stepped into the hallway, and ultimately open the door.

When the door opened, I panicked for a bit. I didn't recognize the man standing there. The second he caught a glimpse of me, he stopped frozen.

He looked at me in awe for a few seconds and then called out

"Ren."

"Who are you?" I asked.

The mysterious man suddenly ran up to my bedside and embrace me into his arms.

I froze, unsure of how to respond.

"U-um-"

"Ren-ren..." I heard him say in a low voice.

The only person who has called me that...

My chest tightened and I gripped onto his shirt tightly.

"A...Aki-nii..."

He pulled away and I could clearly see his face. His matured features, the same ones as my brother. He was almost unrecognizable from the scrawny teen I last saw. His more built body, his clothes, and even his smell were all that of mature young guy in good shape.

"Ren, I'm sorry-I'm so sorry I-"

"Why? Why did you leave me? Why-" My emotions seemed to burst out all at once. Seeing him in front of me, I was scared it was just a dream. I just want to know.

"I couldn't take care of you. I wanted you to be happy. I couldn't afford to do that."

"B-but I didn't want that! I just wanted to be with you! I just-" My face felt hot and my throat closed up. The tears ran heavily down my face.

"I know, Ren-Ren, I know. I was stupid. Everything is my fault. You've been hurt so much because of me. I'm sorry." I could hear his voice shake as he took hold of me once more. I began sobbing helplessly into his arms like a child. He was so warm I couldn't stand it.

"I was so lonely. I just wanted to be with you. I was so scared. Please don't leave me. Please..." He squeezed tighter and soothingly patted my head.

"I wont, I wont leave you alone anymore. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

I couldn't stand it. I just wanted to hold him, to be held, and never let go. I couldn't squeeze hard enough to be satisfied. So many years without him and I finally got my brother back. I finally get to hug him, to see his face, to not be alone anymore. Please god don't take him away. I just want to be with him.

Don't leave me alone.

Hello once more persons. As you may have noticed, I finished revamping the book (like the snazzy new cover? ^u^). As I mentioned before, I combined some of the chapter of part one so if you see missing comments,less views (u-u), and votes(u-u), that's why (sorry if your comment got deleted, write another one  0u- ).
