Ren -

When I woke up once again, my head felt groggy. For a few minutes, everything was just a blurry daze.

A slow realization of what had happened the before I had lost consciousness hit me and a state of panic ensued.

I frantically scanned my surroundings. I wasn't in Ethan's room anymore.

The windows were covered with dark, draped, curtains but I could tell it was already dusk. The only other thing lighting the room was a lamp next to the bed, giving the room a shadowy glow.

The room itself looked rather expensively furnished. The deep turquoise walls contrasted the gold pattern on the curtains and matching velvet chairs. On a small mahogany table sat a glass vase with a single white rose and a glass bottle with presumably some type of alcohol.

Too weak to so much as sit up, I laid in a daze for several minutes until I finally heard the door creak open.

"Finally awake?" I saw Ethan slowly walk up next to the bed still wearing that frigid expression.

"You sure slept a long time. Maybe I made you drink too much before." His words seemed to fade in and out.

"Don't worry, here no one will bother us. Not Noah, not Logan, and not your precious Ian." I stared up at him. I wanted to respond, to tell him everything but by now it seemed useless. I bit my lip and turned away.

In response, Ethan grabbed me by jaw and jerked my face towards him.

"You still have quite a lot of attitude considering your position." He looked down at me with those heartless eyes deprived of any warmth I once saw.

He let go and stood up for a second.

"You must be feeling uncomfortable. You haven't washed up since you came and you were sweating a lot while sleeping and, of course, earlier." He said, emphasizing the last part with a smirk.

"Why don't we get you into the bath." I couldn't tell where he was going with this, whether he expected me to get up in this condition.

Before I could respond, Ethan leaned down and picked me up. My body refused to move and my head fell onto his shoulders as my limbs hanged limply on my sides.

Ethan then carried me out of the room and into the hallway. Every light looked to be off so everything was dimly lit by the setting sun behind a window at the end.

Scared and not knowing where he was taking me, I tried to grip any corner or indentations on the wall but Ethan easily pulled me away.

At this point he remained completely silent which only made things even more unnerving.

When we finally reached the end of the hallway, he carried me into a spotless marble bathroom. The pure white tub already had hot water running and bubbling with soap. It was placed in front of a full wall window overlooking a town from a hilltop. I was at a complete lost at where we were.

Without bothering to remove my clothes, Ethan let me fall into the bath.

I was shocked for a second at how hot the water was. My body, still sensitive from sleep, felt like it was burning.

Ethan stood next to the tub, staring my down as he slowly unbuttoned his black shirt. I looked away, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of my clearly frightened expression. I heard him only let out a low chuckle.

Finally, I heard him unbuckle his belt and step into the water.

I wanted to get out and run but as soon as I tried to move away, Ethan grabbed me by my shoulders and forcefully pulled me towards him.
