Chapter 27

"We need to go dress shopping for prom." Natalie said as we were sitting in the school's library. "Prom?" I asked. Oh shit, prom! Not only was graduation this month, but prom was too. "You forgot." Nat stated. I looked away guilty, I definitely had forgotten.

"So dress shopping after school." She simply said. I had to ask Justin to prom. Would he even go with me? Of course, he's my boyfriend. After school we headed to Carrie's bridal in town. They carried everything from bridal wear to prom dresses and accessories. I looked around at all the different colors and picked up three that caught my eye.

"So are you asking Matthew to prom?" I asked Natalie. She picked up a short pink dress and added it to her growing pile. "No I'm not."

"Why?" I asked.

"Well he didn't want a relationship so I thought it would be better to end it."

"Oh. Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I can't make someone want something they don't want. Besides we were always better as friends." She answered. Wow, she actually ended it. Matthew seemed fine to me the past couple of days so it must not be affecting him.

I decided to try on my three dresses while Natalie tried on hers. The first dress was a strapless white dress that fell above my knees. It had a cream colored lace pattern on the upper chest. Eh, I didn't really like it. Next I tried on this gorgeous two piece navy blue dress. The top was sleeveless and covered in gems. A long navy blue skirt went with it, flowing down to my feet. It showed a little skin in between the two pieces. This is perfect.

I looked over at the long pink dress I had also picked out and decided against it. I came out the dressing room to see Natalie in her short pink dress. "Oh my God Nats! That dress is gorgeous."

"Nooo, look at your dress." She squealed. We decided to get the dresses and I got a silver head band to go with the dress before leaving.

My phone buzzed with a text messages.

'Wanna go to the twins house tonight?' -BabyCakes

'Sure, can I bring Nat?'

'Yeah. Pick yall up at 7.  XOXO'                      -Babycakes

"Should I change before we go?" I asked Natalie. We had sweatpants on since we just came from school. "Go where?" She asked. "Oh yeah we're going to Justin's friends' house."

"Oh okay. And yeah I think we should."

We went back to my house to change. Natalie pretty much had her own closet in my room so it worked out fine. I put on a loose gray t-shirt and some knee ripped jeans with my converses on. Natalie came out the bathroom with a white t-shirt on and ribbed jeans.

It was around 7:16 when Justin texted me to come outside. "Hey baby." He greeted me. "So where are we going?" Natalie chimed in. "Brandon and Nash's house. They're twins by the way, oh and Nash's girlfriend will be there." Justin answered.

I held Justin's hand as he drove while Natalie sat in the back humming. We pulled up to the same house that Andrew took me to for the twins' party. There was music playing inside and an intense beer pong game going on. "Taylor!" Brandon yelled, running towards me and giving me a hug, then giving Justin a man hug. "Who's this beauty?" He asked, referring to Natalie. She looked down as her face turned red. "I'm Natalie." She said. "I'm Brandon, why don't you come join the game."

"Okay." She smiled. Nash joined us with a beautiful blonde in his arms, "This is my girlfriend Danny." He introduced. She smiled really big and gave us a wave. She seemed nice.

Brandon and Natalie started playing beer pong while the rest of us laid out on the couches to talk.

"Let's play dare." Danny suggested after Nat and Brandon finished their game. I sat next to Justin and sipped on my beer as Nash got an empty beer bottle and placed it in front of us. "So we'll spin the bottle and whoever it lands on gets a dare, but if you back out then you have to jump naked in the pool." Nash explained.

Oh god.

Nash spinned the bottle and it landed on Brandon. "I dare you to sing Don't go breaking my heart." Nash said. Brandon groaned, "I don't even know the words!"

"Lies!!" Nash laughed.

"Fine." He pouted. Nash got out his phone and started playing the song.

Woo ooh nobody knows it!" Brandon sung out.

Justin was recording the whole thing on his phone while the rest of us laughed. Brandon's face was red when he sat down next to Nat and wrapped an arm around her. Brandon spinned the bottle and it landed on Danny. She smiled real big, "bring it."

I noticed that she smiles alot, even though she barley talks. "Prank call the Chinese restaurant." Brandon said.

This should be comical.
