Chapter 31

"Today is the big day!" Natalie squealed. Today we were graduating from Highschool. After these past four long years I was ready to leave, but also sad too. I hugged Natalie before finding my seat in the audience.

I turned around in my seat to see my dad, Matthew, Justin, Trudy, Gabby, Brandon, and Natalie's family in the Audience. Gabby gave me a wave when she caught me looking. I smiled and waved back. I took a deep breath as I watched the front row stand and head to the stage.  When Natalie crossed the stage Brandon hollered, "That's my girl!"

Did I mention they're dating now?

Natalie blushed and walked off the stage after she got her diploma. Finally my row stood up and headed to the stage. I clutched my sweaty hands together as I stared ahead.

"Taylor Renee Mahan."

I walked up the steps to the stage and headed to the principal to retrieve my diploma. "Go Tatter tot!" I could hear my brother yell. I shaked my head and smiled as I took my diploma and shaked his hand. I got off the stage and returned to my seat until the end.

Once I saw Justin I ran towards him and jumped. Thankfully he caught me. "Congratulations baby girl." He said. "Thank you."

I was smothered in hugs and kisses from all my family and friends. We decided to all head back to my house for a celebration. Dad grilled hot dogs and hamburgers while Gabby and Natalie's little brother played. Brandon and Natalie were talking to her mom while Matthew talked to Hazel, Nat's sister. When the food was done we all gathered at the table.

"I would like to take this moment to congratulate Taylor and Natalie on accomplishing this big step in life." My dad said. We all clapped and began to eat.

"Taylor can I talk to you?" Justin asked me after everyone ate.

"Yeah." I said, following him away from the party. We stopped under a willow tree and he took my hands in his. I looked up to his bright blue eyes and wondered how I deserved such an amazing guy.

"I don't know how else to say this. From the first day I saw you I knew you were gonna be trouble. You clouded my mind and filled my heart. Baby a life without you would be dark because you are my sunshine. I want you to know that you mean alot to me and, and I love you Taylor."

"Justin, oh my god I love you too."

We kissed under that willow tree until the sun went down.

~FUTURE~

Matthew worked at Starbucks for six months until he met Janet, his now girlfriend. He finally went to college and became an engineer, then moved to Florida with Janet.

Natalie continued to date Brandon until she caught him cheating with his ex. She's still single to this day but has made alot of money in the fashion business.

I never saw Andrew again after he apologized but last I heard he was in jail for hit and run.

Gabby grew up to be a beautiful girl with a love for painting.

Trudy married the preacher at her church and lives happily ever after with him, Gabby, and their cat.

For me and Justin? Well we moved in together. Justin is taking classes in business so he can open up his own mechanic shop, while I attend college to become an English teacher. We have two dogs, Berry and Nikki.

Life is good.
