Chapter 17: Day Off

The next day, it was noon and in Abby's hotel room, Abby was seen putting her jacket on, she was wearing her usual black shirt, black trackpants and TOMS shoes. Kalani was wearing a silver adidas tracksuit and a jacket, they were getting ready to leave the hotel room to sightsee with Stanley and also coming with them was Chloe. Allison already headed out with Christi, Kelly, Brooke and Paige as Nia was with Holly and Maddie, Mackenzie and Kendall were with Melissa and Jill while Gianna and James were out as wel. Then the door knocked as Abby walked to see who was at the door, she looked through the eyehole and saw that it was Chloe, who was wearing a pink jacket, t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

"Hi, Chloe." Abby greeted her top dancer.

"Hi, Miss Abby." Chloe responded. "Hello, Kalani."

"What's up, Chlobird?" Kalani responded.

"Nothing much, Are you two ready yet or do we have to wait for Stanley?"

"As soon as Stanley comes from his hotel room, we'll be ready to go." Abby answered, then a moment later, they heard the door from the hotel room next to Abby and Kalani's hotel room open and coming out was Stanley, who was wearing a Green and White New York Jets jersey with his last name on the back, green trackpants. "And speaking of Stanley."

"Hi, everybody. I'm ready when you are." Stanley said.

"Let's do it." Chloe stated as the four all walked to the elevator and it took them to the lobby and then they all left the hotel and were now outside, seeing a lot of people out and about.

"Where do you want to go first?" Abby asked Stanley, Chloe and Kalani.

"How about the Empire State Building?" Kalani suggested.

"I like that idea, how about you, Chlo?" Stanley asked Chloe.

"Sounds good to me, but what can be a good way to get to the Empire State Building?" Chloe wondered.

"Earlier this morning, when i woke up, i went on my laptop and went on Google Maps to see what would be a good way to get to the Empire State Building is by getting on the subway on 49th, which is three blocks north from here and get off at the 34th Street-Herald Square Station, then walk down 34th street until we reach 5th avenue and that is where the Empire State Building is and the four subway routes that serve 34th Street-Herald Square are the N, Q, R and W lines." Stanley informed.

"All right, let's go." Abby said as she, Stanley, Kalani and Chloe all walked three blocks north and were on 49th street, paid for their fare and when they got to the platform, A southbound "Q" train was seen arriving at the station and the four got on board.

Meanwhile, at the Rockefeller Center, Allison was with Christi, Kelly, Brooke and Paige as they were in line to get on the elevator to take them to the top of the rock and they had gotten their passes to the observatory deck.

"This is gonna be so much fun!" Paige whispered.

"It's gonna be, Paigey. My boyfriend came here a lot and he's currently headed to the Empire State Building with Abby, Chloe and Kalani." Allison stated. "Kelly, have you ever been to the top of the rockefeller center before?"

"Last year. It was me, Christi, Stanley, Chloe and Paige." Kelly answered as the elevator doors opened and people who came from the observation deck were getting off and that meant that it was their turn to get on.

"That's our cue to get on." Christi said as they got on the elevator with a few other people, then when they were on, the doors closed and the lights turned out and it had a see through roof and they were looking at the elevator shaft that had blue lights and the elevator began moving.
