The next morning, which was the day of Fire and Ice, Stanley was seen in the lobby of the Caesar's hotel sitting with Abby, Kalani and Allison. They were waiting for the girls and their moms so they could all head to the competition. They had their bags because after the competition, they would head back home to Naperville.
"Abby, Stanley, Kalani, forgive me for intruding, but i've noticed that Brooke and her mother aren't here. What's going on?" Allison asked.
"Allison, Brooke didn't show up for rehearsals and the reason why she didn't show is because Kelly told us that Brooke wanted to try out for Cheerleading and that didn't sit well with me or my son whatsoever." Abby answered.
"They were mad, while i was finishing up the class i was in, i could hear Mom and Stanley argue with the moms. And the night before we left, mom asked me if i could fill in for Brooke for this routine and i agreed." Kalani said.
"We sure were, if Brooke had just told us herself instead of her mother, we still would have been mad, but that would have been the mature way to do it." Stanley stated.
"I sure miss Brooke, last time i saw her, she was five." Allison said.
"One day, you might meet her and i know she'll be happy to see you, but more than likely you might meet Kelly first. She and everyone in her family that you've met misses you, but you've already seen Paige." Abby told her.
"That would be nice." Allison stated, then when she looked over at Stanley, she gave him a wink and a smile and he responded by winking and smiling at her too. "Another question, where is Nationals going to be at?"
"Last season, it was in Lake Tahoe and this season, it's going to be in Los Angeles." Stanley stated.
"I haven't been to Los Angeles in a long time, thanks for the information." Allison commented.
"You're welcome." Abby said and then the girls and moms were all seen coming from the elevators and headed towards them.
"Well, that's our cue." Kalani stated as she, Abby, Stanley and Allison all got up. met with the girls, moms and Gianna and then they left the hotel to head to the competition.
