I was standing in a field, so long I couldn't see the end of it and my gut was telling me that there wasn't one. The field was filled with dandelions, so yellow their color was tripping into one another. At the end (or what I assumed was the end) of the field was Zach and he was calling me. I ran. I ran as quickly as I could, before my foot got caught. I staggered for a moment before falling onto the hard ground, pain rushing through my veins into my head and then...
I woke up.
I woke up in a heavy sweat and my heart was beating out of my chest. My brain was telling my body to chill and my heart was telling my body to fire it up baby. It was like the two were at war, and I was only the host for canons.
My phone lit up.
Zachy: Hey babe
Me: Hey
Zachy: What's wrong?
I stared at the text, examining every letter, trying to understand it. What's wrong? How'd he know something was wrong?
Me: why do you always think something is wrong
Zachy: You usually call me a nickname
Me: I hate when you're right
I threw my phone on my bed and marched to the bathroom. I was determined to have a normal morning with a normal shower and have normal texts with my normal boyfriend. Showering took forever, like my legs were going to fall out from under me and my heart and brain were still in a traumatic battle with each other.
"What's wrong?" Zach questioned as soon as I walked into the school.
"My boyfriend thinks there's something wrong with me cause I didn't call him baby this morning," I replied sarcastically. He fake pouted and I punched him playfully.
"Am I still picking you up after school?" He asks hopefully and I only nod. Of course, I didn't want to be picked up by him this afternoon, but it was better then riding the bus.
It had started raining since the day started, and I felt like it was showing my mood. It was pushing the battle back, to my kidneys and out of my school and the rain was creating my mud out of my intestines that would eventually fall through my belly button, and I'd be nothing but war zone.
Then I saw it.
A bright yellow dandelion in the middle of a vacant lot. It's color was bleeding out onto the pavement, and I couldn't help but watch it pass as the car moved.
"Pull over," I heard myself say, like my mouth was trying to surrender the fight. Zach didn't argue and pulled into the lot.
When I got out the rain pounded into my head, pushing through my skull and justifying the mush of my intestines. Nothing would help me. Then, I picked up the dandelion and stared through dirty glasses and the bleeding flower. I sat there, staring at the sky and then at the flower.
"Are you okay?" Zach mumbled, breaking the silence. All I could do was nod.
All I could do was nod.

Sorry that this was rushed and kinda depressing, stressful day at school. This might be my only part for today, I don't know, but I hope your days is and was and will be fantastic! Love ya'll!
