It was cold and you could feel bitterness traveling through the air. Your car had broke down so you were forced to walk the to miles to the nearest repair shop. To make everything worse, the night failed to be extraordinary. Your boyfriend, Derek, of three years invited you to a party, so of course you went. You wore a grey dress that stopped above the knee. You didn't feel too scandalous, but you still dressed to impress. Then, you found him sucking on some other girl's mouth.
Your cheeks were colder than anything else because of the wet tears that were still gliding across them. When you finally got to the repair shop, you saw the last people you'd ever want to see, Derek's buddies.
"Feeling scandalous?" Bryce yelled, and I rolled my eyes. "I could give you a ride!"
"Cut it out," Zach mumbled and Bryce shot him a glare.
"C'mon, we'll take of ya!" Monty yelled and I let out an annoyed sigh. There wasn't a worker in sight.
The door swung open and I was begging and pleading it was a worker, but I was disappointed when I saw Justin's smile.
"Ain't she pretty fine?" Bryce asked him, pointing towards me, and I spun around gritting my teeth. "She'd look better in my bed," Bryce added.
"She'd look better in a fixed car, driving home," Justin answered, rolling his eyes. Bryce fumbled for words. "Do you need help finding anything?"
"A worker," I complained, folding my arms in front of my chest.
"I mean, what's wrong with the car?" Justin asked, chewing on a stick of gum that you could've smelt from a mile away.
"It's broken,"I spat back, trying to hide the sorrow of the night.
"Well that's no good, how about I leave these guys and take you home?" He offered.
I pondered for a second. I didn't really have any other choice. I glared up at him and noticed he looked tired. I never realized how tired he really looked, like he hadn't slept in weeks.
"Fine," I grumbled, walking towards the door.
"Man, Justin's got his arm candy tonight," Bryce snorted, looking me up and down.
"No, I've got mine, how about you fine yours?" I sassed back, flipping my hair behind me.
"Ya sure are something," Justin muttered as we walked to the car.
