You were skipping class, again, with your crush and best friend, Justin Foley. Sure, you were a straight A student, but who said you couldn't have fun too. In fact, you only went to school to finish one class, so who cared? As for Justin, he probably needed to be in class. He never was a good student, you could remember tutoring him as a kid. That was right, you knew Justin Foley since before he played basketball, and you sure were proud of that.
"Where do you wanna go?" He asks and you shrug.
"I didn't have a grocery list," you smart off and he rolls his eyes at me.
"Just because you're smart doesn't mean you have to be a smartass."
"You'd have no fun in your life is I wasn't a smartass," I reminded and he glared at me.
"Mmmhmmm," he sighed. Thats when we heard footsteps and the loud voice of our biology teacher.
"Mr. Foley? Ms. (Y/L/N)?" He called.
"He knows our names," I fake squeal to Justin and he shoves me playfully.
"Now shouldn't you two be in class?" He interrogates.
"Nope," Justin pipes up.
"Now why not?"
"The teacher sent us to do something," Justin says as I'm trying to hide me smirk.
"What would that be?" The teacher asks, turning to me.
"Get something from her car," I state matter-of-fact like.
"How do I know you aren't lying?" The teacher asks and I see Justin pretend to be looking at his watch.
"I have a pass."
Justin's eyes widen bigger than ever as I pull out a binder from my backpack. Ruffling through the binder I find a pen and piece of paper. Now Justin is reading over my shoulder as I scribble on the piece of paper, handing it over to the teacher. Before he can read it, I grab Justin's shoulder and bolt for the door.
"YOU GET BACK HERE!" The teacher screams, waving the piece of paper that said 'we do what we want' in large letters.
As you and Justin ran down the street, you found yourself in a Walmart parking lot, catching your breath.
"I've never seen you do that," Justin pants as he lays back in the grass.
"I like keeping you on your toes," I grin. Before I could think Justin leans over and kisses my cheek. "I've never seen you do that," I mumble, suddenly flustered.
"I like keeping you on your toes," he replies, flashing me that famous come-get-me grin.
Then, we were off, through the wet grass of the walmart parking lot.
