"Kiss?" You offer from your side of the room.
Clay raises an eyebrow at you, looking you up and down. He looks dumbfounded, like when you can't figure out a math problem but you've done the formula a million times. You laugh softly.
"Candy, smart one," you reply and he laughs to himself and nods. You toss him a chocolate and look back at your text book.
Clay was your lab partner, so you two got together for projects a lot. Soon, you two were just study partners and if either had trouble in a subject they went to the other. You sat on his bed and he sat at his desk. He was scanning through the health book while you did calculus work.
"Hey Clay, can you help me with this problem?" You asked and he nodded, sitting next to you.
He started explaining the formula and how to put in the numbers, when suddenly he stopped, staring at you quietly.
"What?" You asked innocently, but he just shook his head and continued explaining.
"Do you get it now?" He asks once he's done and you shrug.
"I guess, it's just not my strong spot," you complain and he nods.
"How about I watch you do a few problems to make sure you don't mess up?" He offers and you nod.
While you were solving the equations you could feel him staring at you, not the paper and suddenly your cheeks turned bright red. You look over at him and smile softly and he sheepishly smiles back.
"Kiss?" He offers and you shake your head, focusing on the equation.
"Man, I was hoping you'd say yes."
When you look up he has your lip shaped pencil pouch held up to his mouth and giggle lightly.
"Fine," you fake complain.
You lean in, expecting to hit the plastic shine of your pencil pouch, but Clay swiftly moves the bag your lips collide at once. He kisses gingerly, surprising you, before leaning back.
"I knew I could get you to kiss me," he mutters proudly and I blush hard.
"I didn't kiss you," you mumble sheepishly and he fake glares at you. Leaning over, you kiss his cheek softly. "Now I have."
