Clay headcanon

Childhood Headcanon:
Clay thought the boogeyman was real to such an extent he put duct tape over the space between his bed and the floor so the boogeyman would be trapped. His mom showed you tons of pictures

Good day headcanon:
Clay is pretty funny on a good day. You two will be super sarcastic towards each other and you'll tease him all day. He's super fun on a good day, those are the days you two have to keep quiet from busting out laughing in the library

Bad day headcanon:
Clay is pretty emotional on bad days. You can't really joke around because he never knows if you're being serious or not. You usually curl up with him and tell him how amazing he is. He feels better the next day

Future headcanon:
He decided to be a school counselor and he's a pretty freaking good one. The way he can get you to open up, he can get others to as well. If he ever can't figure out how to help someone you two sit down and think of a solution quickly

Cuddle headcanon:
You two cuddle when you have a bad day or you're stressed. There's tons of times you two are spooning and going over flash cards at the same time. It relaxed you both.

Compliment headcanon:
He never knows how to compliment people with getting off subject or making it sound awkward. He actually goes over compliments with his dad and Jeff and they critique them. Jeff told you about it so you smile even more every time he compliments you

Random headcanon:
Clay is super confused when you tell him something that isn't book smarts. He doesn't have common sense at all so you have to sit and explain a lot of things to him. He usually doesn't understand after either and texts Jeff about it afterwards.
'Jeff why the heck can't I just drive Y/N to her house after she snuck out, I have a key. She keeps saying it'll wake her parents up but I don't walk that loud and she wants to walk home.'
