Walking down the hallways reminded me of what teen agonist feels like. To feel pain and destruction over small, insignificant things. One, being when people stare. Sure, I had a reputation, but maybe they could bribe Tyler into taking a picture of me so I would stop feeling their eyes burning oval shaped holes in the back of my head...or other places.
"Whatcha doin' hun?" I heard a voice call from behind me and shot a glare at Monty.
Monty had been trying to win me over with his so-called-charm all year, but didn't help when he beat up my best friend, Alex Standall. I had cussed him out that week, told him if he touched another brutally bleached hair on Alex's head, I'd rip out all of his hair, yet for some reason he still tried to get me somewhere alone.
"1, get the hell away from me. 2, I ain't your hun, got it?" I snarled and grin erupted on his face
"Feisty, just the way I like 'em," He muttered, trailing behind me as I walked to first period and I was silently wishing he'd trip over his own shoe and break his face. "I bet lots of guys like 'em like that," He added and marched down the hallway as I cursed his name.

"Since you ain't hun, are ya babe?"
After a week, I was slowly realizing he wasn't giving up and had gone to my best friend, Alex, with the issue. I remember him saying to just give it a shot, that it could be worse, and I told him I never would get with Monty, even if we were the last two people on Earth and it was our duty to hook up for the human race to continue. I told him I'd let the human race drown in teen agony and vodka, but looking at Monty now, I slowly started changing my mind.
A grin was pulling on his mouth so perfectly, and I realized all I wanted to do was run my fingers through his hair and bite his bottom lip. I wanted him to call me babe every single day and I wanted good morning messages and I wanted Monty to be my safe place.
"See something you like?" He growls unexpectedly, with a wide grin on his face.
"If I say yes to ONE date will you leave me the hell alone?" I fake snarl and his grin widens.
"Hell yeah, hot stuff."
"Fine, pick me up at seven," I growl, stomping away and glaring at Jessica from my side of the hallway.
