Kinakabahan ako ngayon. Ibibigay kaya niya? I know that's it's a 1% chance but still I'm hoping that he will grant my request.

"What a surprise visit apo. After for how many weeks ngayon mo lang ako naiisipan ulit dalawin."

"Lolo."

I noticed how my grandfather's softened from what I called him. Bata pa ako ng huli ko siyang tinawag non. And I must admit I missed calling him that..

"I needed the heirloom." Walang paligoy-ligoy kong sabi. My heart was pounding like crazy.

Shock was written in my grandfathers face. "Is this for your girlfriend Bell?"

Alanganing tumango ako.

"Pero ang aga naman ata?"

I heaved a deep sigh. Sinasabi ko na nga ba pipigilan niya ako? Bakit pa ako umasa? "Know what forget it maybe I should just buy--"

"No no !" He said hearing panic in his voice. "It's just that, ni hindi man lang tayo nakapagbonding ang tagal kitang hindi nakasama apo. But now that you are decided...."

May kinuha siyang mula sa drawer it's a small vault. He pinned the pass code revealing an expensive velvet box. I can't believe it! He's really giving it to me!

He gave a warm smile before handling it to me. "You've picked the right girl. She's a keeper so don't ever let go."

With shocked still written in my face. "I can't believe that you've just-"

"Oh believe me apo. You will know soon." He cut in with a knowing smile.

I just shrug my shoulders. I don't care anymore in what means as long as I have the family's heirloom that's all it matters.

I opened the box and smiled wala na akong dapat intindihin pa. Sana makuha ko ang matamis niyang Oo...

Now for my surprise...

Western University...

"Is everything ready?" Tanong ko kay Miko na ngayon ay nakangiti sakin. Sa likod niya ay ang kaka set up lang na stage.

"Hindi ko akalain na sa ating dalawa. Ikaw pa talaga ang mauuna.." He teased.

"Well that's what love does..."

Miko chuckled. "Parang kelan lang allergic ka sa salitang yan."

I warmly smiled. "All thank to my baby. She brought me back my faith in love."

Nang biglang humahangos na dumating sina Sabrina at Nicole. "Andiyan na si Bell!!"

Kumabog bigla ang puso ko. Miko taps my shoulder gently as he muttered "Goodluck bro."

I hurriedly went up to the stage kasabay ng pagsabit ko ng electric guitar sa katawan ko. Then I walk in the middle of the stage and settled my self in front of the microphone stand. Sa magkabilang gilid ko ay ang mga kaybigan.

Nicole with the acoustic guitar...

Miko with the bass guitar...

Tyrone who was now thumping the drums ..

And Sabrina infront of the piano...

I heaved a deep sigh before I signaled them to play ..
