Chapter Two

Harlow laughed as Aaron dropped ketchup all over his white t-shirt, of course as soon as she called he came right up to the hospital. Harlow felt like she owed him something because he was the one to find her while he was on a hike. She hoped that Jax didn't mind that she invited Aaron to eat with her, she needed some sense of normalcy right now and Aaron was the only normal thing in her life right now. The only person she remembered since she opened her eyes

"So you have kids?" Aaron asked

"Yeah two girls and two boys. One has a heart condition. Jax was really tight about it though" Harlow said dipping her fries into a glob of ketchup

"I'm sure he didn't want to worry you that's all. Its a lot to process that's why I left. I definitely wasn't expecting you to be married though" Aaron said

"Me either, but then again I didnt know what my name was till this morning either" Harlow said

"I was going to make one up for you, You dont look like a Harlow or Harley or whatever your name is" Aaron said

"Well that's the name my parents gave me I guess what where you going to call me?" Harlow asked

"You look like a Rachel to me" Aaron said

"I'm definitely not a Rachel but nice try though" Harlow laughed

"So what did you and Jax talk about?" Aaron asked

"He told me that I am a stay at home mom and I clean and do laundry all day so pretty much I am boring" Harlow said

"Maybe you should ask him if you could get a job or something?" Aaron said taking a sip of his water

"Maybe, he said he is a mechanic and makes pretty good money so that is why I dont work" Harlow said

"Did he say if you're parents where coming?" Aaron asked

"No he mentioned my dad he did the tattoo on my arm but he didn't say anything about my mom" Harlow said

"That sucks. I should probably get going though, you said he was coming back I don't want him to think I am trying to steal you away or anything" Aaron said standing up

Harlow chuckled as Aaron bent down and gave her a hug "Thank you for being here for me"

"Your welcome, anytime you need to talk or hang out you can give me a call" Aaron said

"I'm sure I will" Harlow smiled

Jax walked towards the entrance of the hospital with a bouquet of orange tiger lilies, knowing that was Harlow's favorite he hoped to try and get everything back to normal for her as quickly as possible. He wasnt sure how long she was going to end up staying but he knew that he would make sure he set time during the day and the evening so he could show her pictures. He planned to bring two of the kids up to see her tomorrow morning after Piper left for school. He just wished that she could remember something of her life instead of making Jax feel like a stranger to her.

"Hey" Aaron said passing Jax

Jax stopped and turned and looked at Aaron "You just saw Harlow?"

"Yeah she asked me to come by" Aaron said

"I get that you saved her and all and I am so thankful for that but seriously man shes my wife I am trying to get her to remember things" Jax said trying to be as nice as possible

"I was all shes had since she was brought in, cut me some slack man I'm just here to be her friend" Aaron said

"That is all you will ever be do you understand me?" Jax asked

"I get it man just friends" Aaron said

"You have no clue what I am capable of" Jax grimaced

"Just like you're just a mechanic right?" Aaron laughed as he walked away

Jax chose to ignore him and head upstairs, when he reached Harlow's room she was looking at the photos Jax left earlier

"Who is this?" Harlow asked pointing to Happy in the picture

"That would be your dad" Jax said handing her the flowers

"These are beautiful, thank you. My dad looks kind of scary though" Harlow said

"You both are just alike, same attitude. Same everything" Jax said

"Where is my mom?" Harlow asked

Jax took a deep breath "She passed she had brain cancer"

"Oh, is my dad around?" Harlow asked

"Yeah he is taking care of a few things, and then taking the kids home till i get there" Jax said

"I'm sorry. I know I've said it a lot but I really mean it. I know its frustrating for you that I dont know anything or anyone" Harlow said

"Its going to take time babe, this isn't easy on any of us but no one is mad at you" Jax said

"How can I go home if I don't know where home is or what its like?" Harlow asked

"My mom is going to be over to help when i am not there" Jax said touching her hand

"Do we get along?" Harlow asked

"You ladies have you're days but mostly yes" Jax said

"I'm nervous Jax" Harlow admitted

"Babe what are you nervous for?" Jax asked

"I'm nervous I'm not going to be the person you want me to be" Harlow said

"You can be whoever you want, you are so loved and you don't even know the half of it. There's so many people that love you babe" Jax said

Harlow looked at Jax, for a moment he thought she remembered everything.

"How did we meet?" Harlow asked

"Well your dad and I went to the bar you were working at, turns out you didn't know he was you're dad and we just clicked" Jax smiled

"Was it that smile that made me fall for you?" Harlow smirked

Jax chuckled "Something like that"

"Do we have sex alot? You look pretty fit" Harlow asked

Jax laughed "Yes babe we have sex alot" Jax knew that sex with Harlow right now wouldn't be ideal because she had been raped and he didn't want to cause anything

Harlow looked at Jax, his blue eyes looking back at her as he bit his lip she watched at his face came closer to hers, butterflies fluttering in her stomach

"The kids like pancakes for breakfast" Harlow blurted out

Jax cupped her cheeks and smiled

"Yes! They love pancakes for breakfast you make tbe best pancakes in Charming" Jax smiled knowing it wouldn't be too long before everything was back to normal
