Chapter Fourteen

Harlow stood in her fathers dorm room at the club looking down at a baby blue sundress, after getting to the club she learned that Jax and Gemma had been planning the whole thing for the last three weeks. Happy standing beside her looking into the mirror with her

"Jax told me everything, I'm proud of you kid" Happy said placing a hand on her bare shoulder

"Thanks dad. I did it for the people I love. I thought by coming here I could do it with no emotion but I fell in love with the fact that I had a father that wanted me and I found the man of my dreams all in one day" Harlow smiled

"Im glad you did, everyone deserves to be happy kid" Happy said

"They do, I didn't beleive that until I met Jax" Harlow said looking directly at Happy

"I wish I could of convinced your mom of that" Happy said

"She loved you so much dad. I think she regretted her decision everyday" Harlow said

"I would of loved to watch you grow up" Happy said

"I have pictures maybe one day we can sit down and I can show you" Harlow smiled

"Id love that, now lets get you to your husband who I'm sure is sweating his ass off thinking you bailed" Happy said

"Id never bail on my family, if this club has taught me anything it was that we are all family" Harlow said

"And we do anything to protect our own" Happy said as they walked out to the main room

Jax was standing in front of the chapel doors in jeans and a button down shirt with his hair slightly slicked back. Happy walked Harlow over to Jax and then walked away. Bobby was standing inbetween them "Since you two are just renewing your vows just say it and get it over with so we can party"

Jax laughed as he took Harlow's hands in his

"Babe we have literally been through just about everything in the last five years, sometimes it was tough and I was scared we werent going to make it. but we did we made it through everything and I wouldnt of asked for a better person to endure all of that with. You are an amazng mother to all of our kids even the one that isn't yours. You always put everyone else first before yourself and I admire that. I know that I can be a stubborn prick and you accept me for who i am and I lvoe that about you. I love you Harley Teller with everything I have in me. I'm happy to be sharing this day with my best friend and soulmate" Jax smiled

Harlow reached up and wiped a tear from her face

"Jackson Teller, a man I studied for years, I thought I would of had you in the palm of my hand but it ended up being the other way around. I thought i knew you but the only person I knew was the bad one. I got a chance to know the sweet adorable loving Jax that no one knew about and that was the man I fall in love with every day. You make me a better person Jax you changed me when I met you and I love you for that, you showed me that I can be happy, that I deserve to be happy and I am even though I get bribed with pancakes for the guys or if I am up all night with a puking kid but it makes it all worth it, because at the end of the day you love me for who I am and nothing less" Harlow smiled as Jax brought her closer and kissed her

After Harlow and Jax ate their food they decided to head outside for a minute together

"You look abosiltly beautiful babe" Jax said as he kissed her again

"Thank you baby, you dont look half bad yourself" Harlow smiled as she placed her hands on Jax's shirt

"I was thinking of heading up to Tahoe for the rest of the weekend" Jax smiled

"You've just got a sleeve full of tricks dont you baby?" Harlow smiled as she leaned in for a kiss

Jax pulled away from Harlow as he heard tires screech into the lot and bullets flying everywhere. Jax pushed Harlow to the ground as he pulled his gun out from his holster and began shooting, patches flying out of the door guns firing at the shooters as the bullets came flying back. Jax knew he got hit he just wasnt sure where the pain was searing though his entire body but he needed to make sure his family was safe

Once the shooters stopped firing Jax became light headed as the voices yelling at him became quieter and quieter as he turned around and saw his wife laying in a pool of blood. Jax stumbled over to Harlow trying to yell but nothing was coming out as he fell to her side. Tears running down his face as Harlow's eyes slowly opened and closed. People all around the both of them yelling for someone to call the ambulance as Jax passed out from the pain.

Gemma and Happy sat in the emergency room waiting on some kind of informaton it had been five hours since both Jax and Harlow were brought in for multiple gun shot wounds. Gemma knew she couldn't sit much longer she was getting antsy she needed to make sure her son and daughter in law were alive. Right as she stood up a doctor came walking out of a pair of double doors

"Teller family" He said

Happy and Gemma both walked towards the doctor, Gemma's nerves were shot as the doctors scrubs were covered in blood

"How are they?" Happy asked as he took Gemma's hand

"Not good either of them. Harley is still in surgery, the bullet is lodged in her heart, whoever shot her had pretty good aim. But right now she is hanging on by a thread" The doctor said

Happy lost it, he fell to the ground and cried

"What about Jackson" Gemma asked as the tears ran down her face

"Jackson is out of surgery, he isnt out of the clear yet, one of the bullets clipped his liver and one his kidney. We were able to remove it but if he doesnt improve then he will be put on the transport list" The doctor said

"Is my little girl going to make it?" Happy cried

"Sir we are doing everything we can, I need to get back to surgery I will have a nurse come and update you as soon as we have something" The doctor said

Gemma nodded her head slowly not sure what to think or how to react knowing that either Jax or Harlow lost each other it wasn't going to be pretty
