Chapter Thirty

Harlow stood in the foyer of Diosa, it had been exactly six months since she took over and she couldnt of been more proud. Profit was up over seventy five percent and everything was running smoothly. She couldnt of been happier looking down at her cellphone she realized she was running behind just like every single day of her life. Walking out to her brand new truck that she splurged on for herself she sat in the driver seat and called Jax to remember to pick the cake up from the bakery

"Baby you arent answering and I really hope its because you are inside the bakery probably making the girls swoon over you but I really need you to get that cake home ASAP I really want a slice"

Harlow sighed and tossed her phone into the passanger seat and started her journey home. Once she was home she noticed Jax's bike nor Riley's car was in the driveway which meant Riley left with the kids when Harlow strictly told her until she has the baby she wasnt to take the kids to the park even if it was down the road. Walking into the dark house, Harlow slammed the door behind her and turned the lights on

"SUPRISE!!!!!" Everyone screamed

Harlow's bag fell to the ground as tears ran down her face, Harlow wasn't expecting to celebrate her birthday with the entire Samcro family and all of the girls from the brothel. Jax walked over to Harlow and kissed her tenderly "Happy Birthday baby"

"This is.... Wow Jax i wasnt exppecting this at all" Harlow smiled

"Well you said you didnt want a party at the club so I figured we would bring it to you" Jax smiled

"You are so sweet baby" Harlow said as the kids ran throughout the house

Once the party was over and Jax helped Harlow clean the kids up from cake and ice cream he met her in the bedroom where she was laying on the bed looking over her ledger from Diosa

"Babe what did we agree on?" Jax asked crawling onto the bed, knowing that they agreed no more Diosa work at home

"I know baby but we had a really good week I just want to make sure i didn't screw anything up" Harlow said as Jax took the ledger from her and tossed it to the floor and hovered over his old lady and smiled as he dipped his head down and kissed her passionately

When Jax woke up he expected Harlow to be gone for the day, but she was still laying in bed knowing that she normally is up and out of bed and gone before Jax

"Babe your late" Jax said as he slid out of bed

"I know, I woke up and felt really light headed so I laid back down" Harlow said as Jax felt her forehead

"Babe you are warm maybe you should go to the doctor and make sure you aren't coming down with anything" Jax said

"I cant drive myself and Im not asking Riley to take me when she is literally gonna pop my brother out anyday" Harlow said

"I will take you, I'll take the day off" Jax said

"Thank you baby" Harlow said as she lifted her hand to Jax's face and gave him a half smiled

After Jax and Harlow arrived at the doctors they waited patiently for a few blood tests to come back while they sat in the chairs quietly, Harlow of course was texting like a madman from an issue at Diosa

"Jax when we leave here i need to get up there" Harlow said taking a deep breath

"I dont think that is a good idea babe" Jax said

"Mr. Perkins is back and I need to go set that mother fucker straight" Harlow said

"I will deal with him you are going to go home and rest" Jax said

"You are funny" Harlow said as the doctor came into the room

"Mrs. Teller, we have found the cause of your faintness" Dr. Yang spoke

"What is it?" Jax asked

"It looks like you are expecting" Dr. Yang said

"WHAT!" Jax and Harlow both yelled

"Not possible Doc, I got my tubes tied" Harlow said

"Well it seems that it may have come untied" Dr. Yang said

"I think i am going to be sick" Harlow said grabbing th near by trash can and emptying her stomach into it

"We wil figure this out babe" Jax said as she rubbed her back

"I cant believe this" Harlow cried, even though she had a new heart she knew that her body may not withstand another pregnancy

Once they got out to Harlow's truck Harlow cried as Jax held her, he knew she was nervous but he also knew she was enraged, she had her tubes tied for a reason and this wasnt somthing her body could handle again. Jax wasnt about to argue with Harlow on not making the trip to Diosa so she went with him but agreed to stay in the car

Once they arrived Mr. Perkins was standing in the parking lot

"Hey prick bag you need to leave" Jax said as he got out of the driver seat

"Nope not till I get my money I paid, I lost everything becasue of your wife and she is going to give me my money back" Mr. Perkins said walking closer to Jax

"No, you signed the contract that stated it could be terminated at our choice and we terminated it" Jax said

"I want my money" Mr. Perkins said

"Mr. Perkins please leave the premisis or i will be calling the cops" Jax said

"I will give you a reason to call them" Mr. Perkins said as he pulled a gun from the inside of his blazer and pointed it at Jax

Harlow looked up and saw Mr. Perkins pointing a gun at Jax, looking through her purse she took out a large wad of cash not caring that it belonged to the girls she opened the door and stepped out

"Here is fifteen grand asshole" Harlow said slamming the truck door

"Harlow get back in the truck" Jax said his eyes not leaving Mr. Perkins

"I need another fifteen and its even" Mr. Perkins said

"This is all i am giving you, cops are already on thier way" Harlow said knowing that she called them as soon as Jax got out of the truck

"I will kill him" Mr. Perkins said

"If you do that you will rot in jail and you will never see your money so what is the point in doing that?" Harlow asked

Mr. Perkins heard the sirens closing in, knowing they were close he walked over to Harlow and snatched the money out of her hand and walked away passing Jax who ran back to Harlow

"That is what I thought" Harlow laughed as Jax slung his arm over her shoulder

Jax watched as Mr. Perkins lips curled as he turned around and pulled the trigger
