Chapter Six

Jax and Harlow walked into the house. Harlow walked right into the kitchen where her father was waiting for them to get back home. Wrapping her arms around her dad he squeezed tightly

"Welcome back kid" Happy said

"I missed you Dad, I'm so glad to be home finally" Harlow said as he released her

"I missed you too but I think your old man and kids missed you more" Happy said looking at Jax who was standing in the threshold

"Are you staying for the rest of the night, I know its late but I will be up early for ya know" Harlow said

"Id love some pancakes in the morning" Happy smiled

"Come on babe lets get to bed, the kids will be up in a few hours" Jax said taking Harlow's hand

Once they got back to the bedroom Harlow immedietly went to Jax's closet and got out her favorite sweatpants and a Samcro shirt, undressing herself and getting dressed Jax rid himself down to his boxers and slid into bed

Harlow slipped into bed moving closer to Jax as he wrapped his arms around her

"Im so happy you are home" Jax said

"I am too, sorry it took so long baby" Harlow said

"That doesn't matter you came back to me that is all that matters" Jax said touching her face

"I love you so much Jax thank you for not giving up on me" Harlow said looking into Jax's eyes

"I would never give up on you babe. I knew once you remembered you would be back" Jax said

"I'm sorry I put you through all of that. I hope you understand I wasn't in the right frame of mind" Harlow said

"I fully understand. It took a little longer then I expected but I'm glad it happened before anything else happened to you. I was afraid I lost you completely" Jax said

"You would of never lost me completely babe. I've always been here just not physically here. I know you're wondering what happened and I can't tell you just yet" Harlow said frowning

"That's fine babe, take you're time. You are here that is all that matters, get some sleep You have four anxious children to make breakfast for" Jax smiled kissing her

"I love you Jackson" Harlow said as they both allowed sleep to overcome them

Harlow was up no more then an hour later, sitting in the bathtub as the scalding hot water ran over her back, she wished she could sleep. It had been a solid month since she slept more then an hour or two a night, she knew why she couldn't sleep. The things that happened to her were still hanging around in her head, they were never clear on who it was up until earlier when she remembered everything. Everything added up on why she was found and how. Running her hands through her wet hair Harlow let out a sob, she knew she needed to tell Jax what happened but she was scared, scared that he wouldn't want to touch her anymore, that he would think she was disgusting and repulsive. She wished she didn't remember what happened so she could make love to her husband like an old lady should but just the thought of Jax seeing her naked again made her want to vomit

Harlow sat in the kitchen drinking her coffee, she knew in the next few minutes her life would go back to being chaotic, back the way it was before.

Harlow heard some footsteps come down he hall, she was pretty positive who it was Harlow stood up as Abel came walking into the kitchen rubbing his eyes

"Hey baby boy" Harlow said quietly

"Mommy!" Abel shrieked as he ran to Harlow who scooped him up and squeezed him tightly

After Abel went any woke everyone up Harlow stood in the kitchen making pancakes while all of the kids Sat with Happy on the couch watching cartoons, Jax emerged a short time later freshly showered

"Morning baby" Harlow smiled

"Morning babe, you sleep okay? Something on you're mind? You weren't really in bed much" Jax said

"I've got to get used to dealing with all the noise in my head that's all baby" Harlow smiled handing him a cup of coffee

"If you need to talk babe I'm here. I dont want you to shut me out" Jax said knowing what happens

"No worries baby, we will talk tonight if you aren't busy" Harlow said

"I'm never too busy for my old lady" Jax said kissing her lightly

"Did you do anything while I was gone?" Harlow asked

Jax knew exactly what she was talking about.

"No babe, I knew you were coming back I promise" Jax said

"I may have done a few things I shouldn't have" Harlow said

"Don't worry babe, im not mad you weren't really you so it's all good" Jax smiled as he rested a hand on her hip

"You're so good to me baby" Harlow smiled

"I try babe. I've got a few things to do but I'll send rat over here around noon, i know you want to go see dr zoe" Jax said

"Thanks baby, I'll make you some dinner tonight, we will talk when you get home. But please be very understanding when I tell you these things" Harlow said

Jax nodded his head, the lingering question still in the back of his mind, none of the police reports said if she escaped or she was left to die in a ditch. Nothing was making sense and he hopes she had the answers later. He needed to make sure that she was going to be safe and nothing was going to happen to her again

"Of course babe. I know its gonna be tough and I am here for you" Jax smiled.

Harlow smiled as she turned around and handed Jax a paper bag

"What's this?" Jax asked

"Lunch your lookin a little skinny baby" Harlow smiled

"Call me if you need anything Okay? I love you" Jax said

"Love you too baby, dont work too hard" Harlow smiled

Jax sighed as he walked out of the house, his life was slowly getting back to normal. Hopefully tonight he would get some answers and console his wife as she tells him her nightmare
