Chapter Thirteen

Six Weeks later

Jax and Harlow fell back into a normal routine, Jax would work all day while Harlow stayed at home taking care of the kids. Jax threw himself back in the club full force trying to find Shaun and take care of him. Harlow and Jax still hadn't been intimate but that was because she still wasn't ready, they would share a few steamy make out sessions but she just wasn't ready. Until tonight, it was their wedding anniversary and Harlow asked Gemma to take the kids for the night so she could spend it with her husband. So after dropping the kids off Harlow went up to Stockton to get some nice lingerie to wear.

She knew Jax was going to be home any minute, she chose not to have dinner ready for when he came home because she wanted to have him, she wanted all of him tonight and figured they would order take out instead, she hoped that Jax wouldn't be too upset that she didn't cook him a well deserved meal but the timing was perfect

Hearing his bike pull into the driveway Harlow stood at the doorway to their bedroom in a white lace bra with matching panties and a garter

"Babe" Jax called out as he walked up the few steps frowning that the table wasn't set and it didn't smell like anything was cooking

"How many undercover cases have you done?" Jax asked

"Five, all of them were drug related except Samcro" Harlow said

"What were you really sent in to do?" He asked

"Find out who is dealing and gun running. I didn't even find out anything until after we got married. And that was when I officially pulled my own plug. After I fell in love with you I couldn't bring myself to dig" Harlow said

"Was falling in love with me part of the job?" Jax asked

"No, not even sleeping with you. I was just supposed to be a kid to my dad and then you showed up with that panty dropping smile of yours and then my panties dropped and the rest is history" Harlow smiled

"You fell in love with me over my smile?" Jax laughed

"We've got a lead gonna check it out tomorrow" Jax said

"When you find him you better call me" Harlow said

"Babe I'm doing this. I'm taking care of him" Jax said

"You don't have to" Harlow said

"I do. If you didn't get to Aaron before I did he was the first on my list" Jax said

"Well i had to, he fucked everything up" Harlow said

"You did a good job babe" Jax said kissing her

"Let's shower and get some food, I'm hungry" Harlow said getting up feeling a warm liquid run down her leg looking at Jax who smirked

"I probably knocked you up.. just saying. There was alot in there" Jax laughed

"We're gonna need a bigger house" Harlow laughed as Jax got off the bed

"I know babe I'm working on that" Jax said as they walked into the bathroom

Jax walked down the hall with a tray of food on it, hoping Harlow would enjoy her breakfast that he made for her. Setting it down on the nightstand he brushed a lock of hair away from her face

"Morning beautiful" Jax smiled

"Morning baby" Harlow said as she opened her eyes

"I made you breakfast" Jax smiled

"Thank you baby but you didn't have to" Harlow said as she sat up, Jax set the tray on her lap and climbed back into bed

"Oh i did, you take such good care of me babe and I used to take that for granted but Im not anymore. Every chance I get im going to tell you that I love you in some way" Jax smiled

"Where did my outlaw husband go? Cause this sweet one is kinda nice" Harlow chuckled

"Marry me again" Jax said

Harlow looked at Jax "What do you mean?"

"I think we should renew our vows, have a real wedding. Kind of to celebrate us starting over" Jax smiled

"Im not sure why you even had to ask Jax, you know I would just say yes" Harlow smiled as Jax kissed her

"Good eat your breakfast cause thats where we are going" Jax said getting off the bed and heading into the shower
