Chapter Four

It had been exactly one month since Harlow had been released from the hospital, Jax wasnt happy that she needed to find herself as she said but he knew he didnt want to make her miserable at home. She wouldnt tell him where she was going but she did agree to check in atleast once a day to let him know that she was okay and not hurt or in trouble. He offered her money but she said she had everything covered. He knew she was with Aaron he wasn't stupid but he couldn't find him, Juice couldn't find him as much as he tried. In the last month Jax had drank an excessive amount of alcohol, but remaining faithful to his wife. The kids were home during the week or when he didnt have a run but most of the time they were with Gemma, they all were confused when Harlow didnt come home with Jax. He wanted to be with Harlow but he knew she didnt really know who she was and as much as he wanted to force her to come home he couldn't, he couldnt make her even if he wanted to because when she let him know she was being discharged that day when he arrived at the hospital she wasnt there, just a simple note

I will keep in contact with you, I am sorry

Jax hoped that she would regain her memory soon, he needed his wife back. He needed to feel her touch and hear her say she loves him and he was dying for pancakes and he needed sleep. He wanted to sleep but he couldnt he was too worried that Harlow was going to be put in a situation that she didnt like and she wouldnt know how to defend herself. But the one thing he was sure of was that if Aaron laid a hand on her and hurt her that he would pay for what he did to his wife.

Harlow sat at the table across from Aaron as they are the meal that Aaron cooked for them, they talked about it and they decided that Harlow would stay at his apartment in San Bernardino so she was local

"So I took the weekend off I was thinking about heading up to Lake Tahoe for some fishing" Aaron said

"Okay, sounds like fun to me. I just have to check in with Jax before we leave so he knows where i am" Harlow said

"Do you really have to?" Aaron asked

"Yeah I do everyday you know this" Harlow said

"I know I just want us to be alone for the weekend. No phones nothing just us" Aaron said Harlow knew that he wanted to take the next step in their relationship. They kissed occasionally and had given each other oral sex but that was as far as Harlow let it go, she wanted to make love to him but something was holding her back, mostly because she was still married to a man she didnt know.

"I can turn it off but I am taking it with me" Harlow said

"Okay I can take that for an answer, so we can leave after dinner if that is cool with you?" Aaron asked

"I think that is fine. I just dont want you to get hurt Aaron. I dont know when my memory is going to come back and I dont want you getting hurt" Harlow said

"I think i can change you're mind when it comes back, look how much fun we are having" Aaron said

"Trust me I am having fun, I am enjoying this time with you but what if my love for Jax is stronger?" Harlow asked

"I dont think it is. I will show you. That is why i want to bring you up tp Tahoe and show you everything I know" Aaron smiled

"Okay" Harlow smiled back at him taking out her phone and texting Jax

Heading up to lake tahoe for the weekend, I will still check in

Aaron pulled down the dirt driveway, Harlow looked around as the headlights hit the small cabin. She felt something weird run through her body as she stepped out of the car and her feet hit the ground Aaron and Harlow walked up the steps and he reached above the threshold to retrieve the key as Harlow scratched the back of her neck. Something wasn't right when he opened the door and she walked in. Harlow closed her eyes, she felt it. She had been in this cabin before but she didnt know when

"Hey are you okay?" Aaron asked as he placed his hand on the small of her back

"Yeah. I think I have been here before. The bedroom in the back has a view to die for. I just don't remember who i was here with or why" Harlow said walking through the small cabin passing the small kitchen and the bathroom down the hallway and walking into the bedroom to the windows opening the blinds she took a deep breath as Aaron wrapped his arms around her from behind and his head rested on her shoulder

"This is an amazing view" Aaron said, he knew her memory was coming back little by little. He had no idea she would of ever been up to this exact cabin. When he booked the cabin for the weekend the park owner said he was surprised that anyone wanted it that mostly the same family came to this cabin frequently. Aaron knew that he needed to take the next step before she remembered everything

Harlow turned around in Aarons arms as he kissed her. His hands cupping her face as she opened her mouth to let him in his hands resting on her hips as Aaron leaned his forehead against hers

"I need to tell you something" Aaron whispered

"What is is?" Harlow asked as she pecked his lips with hers

"I love you babe I want to break your wall down" Aaron said as he crashed his lips to hers

Harlow closed her eyes and they snapped back open

"I need to step outside for a second, I will be right back" Harlow said walking away

"Is everything okay?" Aaron asked grabbing her hand

"Yeah everything is fine I am just really hot" Harlow said waving her had over her face

Harlow walked out onto the porch and placed a hand over her mouth and let out a sob as she pulled out her phone

"Hello?"

"Jax come get me" Harlow said

"Are you okay where are you" Jax asked sitting up

"I'm up at the cabin" Harlow said

"What cabin?" Jax asked putting his pants on

"Our cabin the one we spread my mothers ashes at" Harlow cried
