Chapter Twenty Six

It had been a few days since Jax and Harlow's return to Charming, even though they had a blast up in Indian Hills Jax knew Harlow wanted to be home with the kids, she never came out and said it but he knew that she wanted to go back. Once they had arrived home all of the kids greeted them with hugs and kisses and Harlow went straight for the kitchen to prepare Sunday dinner that Riley had already started.

Jax had been spending more time between the club and Diosa, trying to get the books buttoned up on both ends

"Jax can I talk to you for a second?" Colette asked peeking her head from her office

"Sure" Jax said looking around before heading into her office

"You haven't been around much" Colette said

"Yeah I took a weekend with the wife and been spending time at home with the kids and her" Jax said

"Oh I thought you didn't want to come around anymore" Colette said

"I've been busy, I do even though i spend a lot of time here and the club I also try to spend as much time home with my family" Jax said

"Oh, you look stressed" Colette said walking behind Jax and massaging his shoulders, He needed this she was right he was stressed, Jax had a lot on his plate and he wasn't sure how he was going to deal with it all yet. But getting a simple massage was meaning the world to him at this very moment

"Hey girl" Harlow smiled as Riley walked into the kitchen

"Hey so I have something to ask you" Riley said leaning against the counter

"Okay shoot" Harlow said as she cut some sandwiches for the kids lunch

"I was asked to be a Old lady but what does that exactly mean? Like a girlfriend?" Riley asked

Harlow smiled, she was happy that her father finally found someone that he could ask to be his old lady and maybe settle down finally

"Well being asked to be an old lady means a lot. Its way bigger then being a girlfriend" Harlow smiled

"Care to explain cause I am really lost" Riley said

"Pretty much there are rules of being an old lady. First one is you do what you are told. Second stand by your man no matter what he does which gets hard sometimes. and third you can only allow yourself to be with him and only him no matter what" Harlow said

"So I have to do whatever he tells me to do?" Riley asked

"Yeah, that's the way it works Gemma once told me Only men need to be loved women need to be wanted. I never read much into it but I have seen something in my days and now I understand it" Harlow said

"I don't understand still" Riley said

"When you are an old lady you need to be respected by the crow eaters and the sweet buts, you cant let them get to you because once you let your guard down they have no problem taking your man back to the dorm rooms and sucking his dick. If you put them in their place to begin with build that reputation you will never have a problem" Harlow said

"Have you ever let your guard down?" Riley asked looking at Harlow

"No, but that didn't stop them" Harlow said closing her eyes

"Wait Jax cheated on you?" Riley asked

"More then Id like to admit. But we got past it, don't get me wrong I struggle with it daily always wondering if he is out screwing someone else but i know the signs I know how he gets when he is getting his dick wet" Harlow said

"Wow girl you and you stuck around I don't know how you do it" Riley said as the kids came running into the kitchen for lunch

"Notice how Jason doesn't have blonde hair like the rest of them?" Harlow asked as she handed the kids their plates

"Yeah but I thought they got that from your dad" Riley said

"Jason isn't mine" Harlow said as she looked at Riley whos eyes were wide

"You mean to tell me you are raising a kid that Jax had with someone else?" Riley asked

"Sure am, she doesn't have any rights so to him and everyone else I am his mother and I always will be" Harlow smiled

"You don't have to worry about doing that Ri, I am an only child" Harlow laughed

"For now" Riley said quickly as she looked away

"WHAT!" Harlow yelled

Riley smiled at Harlow whos mouth was wide open

"NO fuckin way. God this is so weird how? Why?" Harlow asked as Riley started laughing

"No don't answer the how I know that. But seriously? This is going to be so weird" Harlow said

"I know, it wasn't supposed to happen it just did and when i told him this morning that was when he asked is I could be his old lady" Riley said

"I'm going to be a big sister. Jesus girl I'm almost fucking thirty and i am going to have a younger sibling, I didn't think my dad had it in him" Harlow laughed

"Yeah well I wasn't ever supposed to get pregnant so it must of been meant to be" Riley said

"Wow this is crazy girl, congratulations!" Harlow said as she hugged Riley tight

"So you gonna give me old lady classes or what?" Riley asked as she laughed

"Girl I have so much to teach you" Harlow said

Jax found Harlow in the laundry room folding laundry, it was late and didn't expect her to be awake this late

"Hey beautiful what are you still doing up" Jax asked kissing her cheek

"My gears are turning in my head from some news I received today just trying to process it all" Harlow said picking up a towel to fold

"And what was this news?" Jax asked stepping back and crossing his arms over his chest

"Riley is pregnant" Harlow said

"Seriously? I didn't think your dad had it in him" Jax said

"Yeah me either, but its happening" Harlow laughed

"Wow babe that is crazy, I'm gonna go jump in the shower and head to bed i am exhausted" Jax said as he walked out of the laundry room

"Alright ill come grab your clothes in a minute" Harlow smiled

When Harlow walked into the bathroom Jax had just stepped into the shower picking his shirt off the floor she threw it over her shoulder and bent down to grab his pants, and began taking his belt off of them, when something fell on the floor.

Harlow bent down and picked up what fell out of Jax's pocket, her heart dropping to the pit of her stomach as she looked up at the closed shower curtain. Taking a gulp and closing her eyes to stop the tears from coming she walked over to the shower curtain and tossed it over the shower

"You forgot your fuckin whores thong in your pocket"
