Chapter Eighteen

"Well its a boy" Harlow said as Jax walked into the house, its had been a very uneventful last five months besides finding out that they were exepecting a boy. Jax was still moved out but once or twice a week he would stay at they house to give Harlow a break and let her take a hot bath or just relax without having to make dinner or anything.

"A boy huh?" Jax smirked knowing they had discussed last week that she wanted another girl

"Shut up about that" Harlow laughed as Jax placed his hands on her small baby bump

"He doesnt like me very much obviously if every time i put my hands on you he stops kicking" Jax said

"He is a total mommas boy already" Harlow smiled

"How about one of my kids wants to be attached to me for once, christ Jason wants you more then he wants me" Jax laughed

"Because I have the secret goods thats why" Harlow laughed

"And what secret goods are those and why cant I have any?" Jax asked as he wrapped his arms around Harlow

"My food all of it" Harlow said has her hands found Jax's unruly hair

"I could go for some food or some of you" Jax smirked

"Later on that one. Dinner is in the oven" Harlow smiled as one of the kids came running down the hall

"Go take your bath then, I think i can handle grabbing it out of the oven when the timer goes off" Jax smiled

"Are you staying or going after?" Harlow asked biting her lip

"Oh I'm staying, I need some lovins and some snuggles" Jax smiled

Harlow laughed as she walked out of the kitchen and down the hall. Knowing Jax and her had a weird relationship going on she really wanted him to be back home but she had yet to ask why he hasn't come back. They still acted the same when he was over at the house and he would occasionally take her out to dinner and buy her flowers.

Jax fed the kids and cleaned up dinner, after looking over the clean kitchen he knew that Harlow would be happy with his newfound cleaning skills. After getting the kids situated on the couch with some cartoons Jax walked back to the bedroom to check on Harlow. Finding her in the bathtub with her eyes closed

"Enjoying yourself?" Jax asked

"More then you know. its quiet out there what did you do to the kids?" Harlow asked opening one of her eyes

"Nothing, besides tell them grandma is coming to get them in a little and they needed to sit and behave or she wasnt coming" Jax laughed

"Getting rid of the kids tonight whats on your agenda?" Harlow asked

"Yeah spending some quality time alone with my wife" Jax smiled as he leaned down and kissed Harlow

"Jax what are we doing here?" Harlow asked looking up at Jax while she took the plug out of the bathtub as he handed her a bathrobe

Jax looked at her, he had to admit he loved looking at Harlow naked and pregnant, even though he has never seen another pregnant woman naked he knew she was the most beautiful pregnant woman he had ever laid eyes on "I'm not exactly sure. I want to come home but I don't at the same time. Its hard seeing what you go through everyday just to get out of bed"

Harlow wrapped the bathrobe tight around her, she knew what Jax was talking about she had been complaining of having trouble getting up and out of bed before she took her heart medication "I'm sorry that I am stopping you from coming home. The new meds help me out a lot though and the doctors are confident that they can deliver the baby and keep me alive at the same time"

"I hope so, I'm still pretty scared to lose you" Jax said

"I know you are and I am sorry. But I have discussed with them that they are going to tie my tubes after the little guy comes" Harlow said

"Im sorry I missed the appointments I know I've been shutting you out on a lot more then I should have but I thought this was going to be easier but it isn't its harder on me then anything else" Jax said as Harlow wrapped her arms around his neck

"I love you baby but I don't want you to feel pressured to come back home. You just come home when you are ready" Harlow smiled before Jax's lips captured hers

"Lets get these kids out of here I want to cuddle with my old lady and eat some ice cream" Jax smiled

"Sounds like a plan baby" Harlow smiled as they walked down the hall together

Jax was nervous, Harlow was being prepped for surgery while he made some phone calls knowing that he needed to be upstairs in under five minutes he called one more time to assure himself that the kids were going to be okay for the night. Harlow's water had broken at home while she was eating dinner knowing it was about four weeks too early the doctors didn't want to take any chances and had Jax bring her in right away so they can get the baby out and keep her alive. Jax had moved back home a little over a month ago officially but he had been there more frequently because he noticed Harlow having a hard time just getting around the house

Once he was back upstairs he met back up with Harlow who seemed nervous laying on the table. Bending down he placed a kiss on her forehead "I love you, everything will be just fine"

"I'm nervous because its so early" Harlow said

"The doctors are going to take good care of him I promise" Jax smiled as he took her hand and squeezed it

Jax walked next to Harlow as they walked down the hall towards the operating room, Jax was dressed in a pair of scrubs that Harlow insisted he bought before she went into labor so he could be in the operating room

"You look sexy in scrubs baby" Harlow smiled looking up at Jax

"You are high on your meds babe" Jax laughed looking down at her

"Okay Mrs. Teller we are going to get you ready now. If you feel any kind of dizziness or anything you need to let us know" One of the doctors said

"Okay I've got it" Harlow said as her eyes weren't leaving Jax. She couldn't admit that she was scared that she had a chance that she wasn't going to make it through the surgery

To Jax it felt like eternity before he heard a small cry, his eyes finally leaving Harlow's as the doctor handed Jax his baby boy. Jax leaned down to show Harlow their son

"He is beautiful baby" Harlow said as she kissed the baby's small head

"We did good babe" Jax said looking down at his son

"Well Mrs. Teller it looks like everything looks good we are going to tie your tubes and stitch you back up" the doctor said as he reached his head over the curtain

"Welcome to the world Thomas Lowman Teller" Harlow said as Jax knelt down next to her with their son

"I love you so much babe" Jax smiled

"I love you too baby" Harlow smiled back at Jax
