C 18: Book 1

School Visit 😳

Cyn POV

  I woke up separately. Gotten dress, and headed to school alone. The school year was almost over and graduation was around the corner.

  In my first and second period we just watched a movie, nothing to serious so I didn't really pay attention.

Lucas didn't come to school today, so he must've been busy. He was mad at me, I could tell, he would've said something to me this morning but didn't.

The swelling in my face went down and it wasn't really recognizable. The bell rang and I grabbed my bookbag and headed for my locker. I stuffed my bookbag in my locker and grabbed my phone.

     As I closed it I could see June, Roderick Geo and Peanut walking down the hallway. Sighing in disbelief, I folded my arms over my chest as they approached me.

Me: what do I owe the pleasure?" I said sarcastically.

June: you seen Craig today?" he saif getting to the point.

Me:..Lucas sent you?" I glared.

June: Lucas don't need to send us." he snapped.

Me:..I haven't seen Craig today, but it's free period so he should be around here somewhere."

June: well let's go find him." he smiled.

    I rolled my eyes and walked with them around the school. People looked at my brothers, the girls gawked and the boys just stared.

   It was like everywhere we went people stared. I put my head down as we approached the cafeteria. As they walked around, the people they passed grew silent and stared.

I spotted Craig before my brothers did.

  He was sitting with his friends and Briana on the picnic tables outside. I tugged at June's arm and pointed at Craig when I got his attention.

      Craig spotted us as we walked outside and over to his table. He smirked but you could tell he was a little nervous, we made eye contact once, but I looked away and stood off to the side.

Craig: well well.." he said standing up as my June got up close.

June: I aint get the chance to really make sure you understand me  about some shit." he began.

Craig: yeah, what's that?"

June: do you remember when I told you to keep your hands off my sister?" he said folding his arms.

Craig: I sure do." he smirked.

June: so why am I hearing that you smacked her a couple of days ago, and don't lie you gone only make shit worse."

Craig laughed and stared at me and looked back at June.

Craig: her face is fine, you can't even tell that I hit her, not saying I did...." he laughed.

Craig laughed some more but June wasn't. June stared at him with a straight face, before reaching up and punching him hard in the face. Craig fell to the ground as blood came from his lip.

Me: June!" I snapped. I grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away, but it was like pulling a statue off it's podium, he wouldn't budge.

June: the very next time, that I hear that you've hit my sister, I will kill you." he said bluntly.

June: don't look at her,  don't think about her, don't talk about her, don't even breathe around her. Because if you do. I. Will. Kill. You." he said towering over Craig.

  Craig got up and wiped the blood from his face. People were beginning to crowd us and I could see teachers coming outside.

Me: we have to go." I said softly to June.
