C 18: Book 1

Snatched

??? POV

Today was the day.
Time to get even.

   I watched as everyone cleared the house and headed to school leaving her alone. I grabbed the metal bar in the backseat and locked my car door. I looked to make sure no one was watching before I approached the car.

Cyn POV

I woke up with Lucas gone. He slept in my room last night but I guess he left.

    I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen and poured me a glass of water. It was pretty dim outside, the house was definitely empty. It was a Friday, and I was still on suspension so nobody was home but me.

I was on the way back upstairs when a loud bang came  from the foyer. It sounded like glass shattering.

I froze in my spot, trying to listen out to see if the sound would come again. When it didn't I pulled out my phone and dialed Lucas's number putting him on speaker as he picked up on the first ring.

Lucas: yoooo."

Me: Lucas someone's in the house.." I said as I slowly approached the foyer.

  I came around the marble pillar. The front window was open and there was glass everywhere.

Lucas: what.?"

Me: I said someone's in the-" I felt my hair being pulled back, yanking me to the floor hitting my head.

??: Damn..this Craig's ex?" he snarled.

The man trailed his hand down my body, I reached up and smacked him earning a punch to the face.

??: dude, he said he wanted her unharmed."

??: a couple of bruises won't harm a thing."

Lucas: heyo cynn?"

Me: Lu-lucas help me-" I tried to say into the phone.

The man stomped on my phone completely smashing it and kicking it to the other side of the hall. I crawled onto the broken glass trying to get away.

   I winced in pain as I cut my hands and knees up. I crawled to the stairs and tried standing up, but the pain in my legs from the glass caused me to fall back down.

??: oh sweetheart." he chuckled. I slowly crawled up the first step.

??: dude come on grab the girl already." he snapped.

I felt a hard grip on my ankle yanking me down the stairs. The man picked me up and wrapped his arms around my torso so tight I couldn't move. I couldn't free myself.

He walked me over to the other guy who had a white cloth in his hands. I struggled to get free but it wasn't working. The realization of reality hit me, I was really being taken. The waterworks started coming and I started to fear for the worse.

Me: pl-please don't do this." I cried looking at the guy in front of me. It was hard to see his facial expression because he was sporting a black mask.

??: ahh I hate that it has to be you." he shrugged. He smashed the white cloth over my mouth.

It didn't take long for me to black out. Closing my eyes, I could feel myself...alone.

Lucas POV

I looked at my phone in confusion.  I tried to call her back but it didn't go through. I shrugged it off thinking she didn't mean to call me.

Briana: Lucas."

Me: what.." I said not looking at her

Briana: I was just wondering if you and Cyn were ok." she said
