38 days until I go mad.
"Do it!" Tiffany yells.
"What if I miss?" I ask, "I mean, if I anger the Diazs, they'll kick me out."
"Oh come on," Johnson smiles, "it'll be fine. They love you like their own kid. They won't kick you out. Right Jim?"
"Hey," Jim shrugs as they set up the last of the mirrors, "what do I look like an oracle? Although I think it'll be fine."
"Besides," Glossyack adds, "I need to check how you do a basic blast. Just hit the target and we'll be done. Although I must ask... must it be so elaborate?"
I look around the yard at the complex array of mirrors, designed to reflect my beam about in an extravegent fashion before ending on the target. However if I miss and break something, the Diazs will probably just kick me out, and I can't lose this. They're the closest thing to a family I have. Loosing mom and dad...
I blast the mirror to my left. We all watch as the green bolt bounces left, right, up, down, and misses the hand mirror set in the window.
"That's bad," Glossyack comments.
"Oh crap!" I exclaim dashing inside and up the stairs. Marcie and mom and dad aren't home right now, which is why I'm hanging out with my other friends. I dash into Marcie's room, only to find what was destroyed. Her favorite red hoodie, ripped to shreds.
"How bad is it?" Tiffany asks walking up the stairs with Johnson and Jim, "what's broken?"
"You can revive the dead," I ask, "right?"
"Yeah," Tiffany asks, "why?"
"Can you bring back dead clothes?"
"What happened?" Johnson asks.
"Whelp," I sigh, "guess I'm gonna have to move elsewhere. Cause I just destroyed Marcie's hoodie. Also, has anyone seen my mirror?"
My mirror rings with a call from Comet. I answer, making sure that there's no guards outside my room.
"Hello princess," Glossyack greets.
"What are you doing with Comet's mirror?" I ask.
"As you know," Glossyack explains, "I am to work in the best interest of whoever has the book. Right now, that's Comet. I have contacted you to inform you Comet is going dark."
"I know, and I really wish I could help."
"You can. Comet wants to be king. What I want you to do, is find a way to help him become king. Can you do that?"
"I'll try."
"Exellent. Farewell Star."
Glossyack hangs up. I wonder if I could take care of escaping Mewni and putting Comet on the throne at the same time. I think I'm starting to get an idea...
"What do we do!?!" I demand.
"Don't panic," Tiffany reassures me, "look on the bright side. You'll be able to stay at my place for a bit until we find you a new place on Earth."
"Not helping!" I yell.
"Dude," Johnson reassures me, "relax. I know Marcie, it'll be fine."
"I can't lose this!" I exclaim, my cheeks glowing green, "I already have to deal with my real parents hating me! I can't take that from them!"
