"(Y/n) my throat hurts!" Prompto whines. I roll my eyes in response. "Prompto, I've told you a million times, you're sick, you're going to feel uncomfortable," I say, huffing at my boyfriend. As much as I love him, his whining was getting on my nerves.
Ever since Prompto caught the flu, he's been forced to spend all day in bed. Leaving me with no choice but to take care of him.
"But not this uncomfortable," Prompto whines again, this time louder. "I thought your throat hurts," I replied back. "It does!" "Then how are you able to whine so loud?" I shot back, clearly annoyed. That left him in silence.
"Look (N/n), I'm sorry. Sorry I'm so whiny and annoying," he states sadly. "Prompto, you're not annoying, whiny is debatable, but annoying? Never," I state in a matter-of-fact tone. While he snorted at the whiny part, the last part of my sentence seemed to touch him. "Thanks (n/n), that means a lot to me," he says, pulling me into bed with him. "I love you Prompto." "I love you too (y/n)." He says lovingly as he brushes a strand of my (h/c) hair from my face.
Shortly after, despite my efforts, I fall into an inevitable slumber with Prompto stroking my hair. I caught the same flu a few days later, but it was worth it.
