Reader's POV

"Come on Noct pleeaassee," I beg, hoping he would give in.

When I saw the sign I almost screamed. They have CHOCOBO RACES!!!!

When Ignis said we would be going to the chocobo post, I was already bursting with excitement before I saw they held chocobo races!

"Calm down, it's not a big deal," he responds nonchalantly. "Please! Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio are busy shopping, it would be just you and me," I beg again, using puppy dog eyes. "Fine, a few races," he says after a while, giving in. Yes! I should use puppy dog eyes more often. "Come on, let's get this over with," Noctis says, sighing.

When we finish saddling up our chocobos, we line up at the starting line.

"On your mark, get set, go!" Right when I hear the gunshot I kick my chocobo and off we went.

Racing was a lot harder than I thought. Each turn had to be taken at exactly the right time or i'd take a few seconds getting back on the track.

By the time I got to the finish line, Noctis was already there, smirking triumphantly. "Looks like I won," he gloats, not losing his smirk. "Ok one more time, I started late," I say, not being able to watch Noctis' smirk any longer. "Sure (n/n)," he says, disbelief clouding his voice. But he agrees and off we went again.

Eight races later, I still can't win. "Dang it Noctis, quit laughing!" I whine. "Awww come on (n/n), you lost eight matches in a row. Your not going to win one now," he states, laughter still evident in his voice. I huff in response. "Look at all your medals! They look so cool, and here I am with no prize at all," I say, pouting. "How's this for a prize?" He asks before quickly kissing me on the cheek. I stand in silence for a moment before realizing what just happened. "Noctis Lucis Caelum you get back here right now and give me a proper kiss!"
