~Hannah's POV~

Just another boring day at the orphanage. I can't help being a quiet girl. That doesn't mean people can't walk up to me and start a conversation. I mean, I'm a great listener. I listen to music a lot. Same thing, right? Yeah, I know that's wrong. Oh, well.

I basically just sit upstairs in my room all day long, watching videos on YouTube. My favorites are videos by JeromeASF, and SkyDoesMinecraft. They're my idols...

Sigh. I wish that I could meet them. I had enough money to pay for a flight to Minecon before; last year, actually. But the mistress here wouldn't let me out of her sight. She shot me down. With a "no" screamed in my face, I basically lost all hope that I would even get a hundredth of a chance at meeting the people that I admire.

I heard a bell ring gracefully from downstairs. The entrance bell. Was someone coming to... adopt? This was my chance to get out of this place forever. I threw on my nicest clothes, and a bright smile. Right as the mistress called us all downstairs.

(Author's Note: It's me again! Sorry the chapter is so short! But here it is... Anyways, thanks for 15 reads! Half of them were probably me re-reading it to make sure I didn't have any typos, but still, it's a big deal for me! Thanks so much!

If you enjoyed the chapter, smack that vote button with your forehead. I know everyone says that, but votes let me know that you're enjoying the story and you want me to keep writing.)
