~Alesa's POV~
Today was Winta's birthday. Winta cried most of the day. "I get to spend my 14th birthday with all of my friends, and my closest family members. That's what makes this the best day ever," she exclaimed. I knew she was referring to Adam, Hannah and Rene when she said that, but it was sweet anyways.
Winta decided for her birthday that she wanted to do something special for her YouTube channel; a four hour recording session with all her friends, of her favorite mini-games.
Since I didn't have a Minecraft account, I spent the day shopping for Winta's presents.
Adam had given me a list of everything Winta could possibly want, and anything that was on the list that I found, Adam told me to buy.
I went to the mall, and for the shop called Tilly's. Adam said to get her a gift card there, since it was her favorite store. I checked that off the list.
I went around the mall, and by the time the four hours were up, my hands were full with seven bags, mostly of clothes and other random items that had been on the list.
When I got home, I snuck down to the basement to wrap everything. That took another hour. I hoped Winta liked everything, because it had taken a while to find it all.
A long while.
When I was done wrapping, I put all of Winta's gifts in the living room. I just knew she would love them all.
~Winta's POV~
~time rewind to when the four hours had just started~
"EAT MY DUST, HANNAH!" I used my ender pearl to teleport to the player in front of me. We were playing "Dragon Escape" on Mineplex; the first game of the four hour recording session.
Hannah is REALLY bad at Dragon Escape, so she was really excited when she got ahead of me, the Parkour Master. I gave myself that nickname, but so what? It's my birthday, geez.
Little did Hannah know I picked the Warper class. I teleported to her, and instantly raced in front of her, through the canopy of the jungle part.
"Wha?!" Hannah fell down a level. Douglas the Dragon got to her. "NOO!" she screamed as she fell to the void.
"Ha! That's a win for me!" I pumped my fists in the air.
"Nice job, Winta!" Rene congratulated me.
HannahGamer360: gg
purplepandaslayer: gg
RenePlayss: you both stink
"Hey! Don't insult me on my birthday!" I ordered.
RenePlayss: Hannah stinks
"Hey! Don't insult me on my sister's birthday!" Hannah whined.
RenePlayss: fine. but it's true...
Onto the next minigame.
This went on and on for the next four hours, and when we posted the video on my channel, it was time for me to open presents.
The three of us walked downstairs, and Hannah pointed her finger.
"Twenty-three presents," she counted.
"That's more than I've gotten in my last five birthdays, combined," Rene said jokingly.
The guys came out from the kitchen, and we all sat on the two couches. Ian made me open his gift first, so I did.
"Socks? Gee, you shouldn't have. Wow! They're white, and were two dollars, too!" I gasped sarcastically.
"But wait, there's more!" Ian said in an advertising-man voice.
I reached down into the bag, and there was a necklace.
It had a silver chain, and at the end of it, there was a heart locket. The locket was silver, with white and blue designs. I flipped open the locket:
For Winta: The one and only!
"Thanks, man," I said. Ian gave me a thumbs-up.
From Adam, I got a pair of red Converse and a blue, Converse sweatshirt.
From Ty, I got a purple pair of Vans.
"Is that something you just like to give girls? Vans? Seriously, you gave Hannah those, too," I laughed.
"Thanks."
Ty looked at Rene.
"Guess what you're getting for Christmas," he smiled goofily.
From Mitch and Jerome, I got a foam, life-size Betty.
"Choppin' like a Bacca!" I said, swinging Betty around. Jerome fist-bumped me.
"Das right!"
From Jason, I got a stuffed Jeffrey.
From Hannah, I got a new laptop. It was a silver, Dell computer, with removable mob stickers all over it.
"Everyone chipped in on that," Hannah admitted.
"Thanks, you guys," I said.
"You forgot one more gift," Alesa said. She handed me a white box with a red ribbon wrapped around it. I unwrapped it, and inside, there was a piece of paper.
I stared at it blankly. A piece of paper?
I turned it over. Okay, good. It wasn't a blank sheet. Alesa had found some private IP addresses from her friends for Minecraft servers.
"Thanks so much. All of you," I said.
We watched the Minecraft Movie (a Minecraft animation) through Apple TV, then me and Hannah went up to bed, and it was only 9:02.
I got in my teal sleep tee and fleece Minecraft pajama shorts that had all the different ingots on them. I went into Hannah's room.
"So... we start school tomorrow," I told her.
"I know," Hannah said sadly.
"Why are you so sad?" I asked. "School isn't a big deal." I decided to tell her the news.
"Besides, you aren't going to a real school. Adam signed you up for an online school with me. That way, we still have time to record AND have an education," I told her.
She squealed with delight.
"That's awesome!" She gave me a high-five.
"Okay, I have to go get some sleep so I can be ready for 'school' tomorrow," I announced.
"Happy birthday, sis," Hannah said, climbing into bed.
"Thanks, sis," I replied.
"Good night."
"Good night."
I shut the door, and went to my room. I pulled up the covers and rolled over.
I sighed, closing my eyes.
Another perfect day gone by.
Another day ahead.
