"Now, there's one rule. You're not allowed to date any of my teammates. Ever."

That was the first thing your older brother, Cedric, had told you when you moved into his apartment. You had just laughed at him, figuring that it wouldn't be a problem. You had never had a crush on any of his teammates before, so you figured it would be fine.

That was until you met Tyler Johnson.

You had first met Tyler when he had come over with a few other guys shortly after you had moved in with Cedric. You figured that you were just going to stay in your room and not bother them. However, when you went into the kitchen to get food, Tyler invited you to play NHL 17 with them with a smile you couldn't resist.

Tyler had pulled you away from the others and asked you for your number while Cedric was out of the room. His teammates gave him weird looks but luckily, none of them said anything.

It didn't take long for you and Tyler to start dating. You were absolutely smitten with him. However, it hurt, because you knew you had to keep your relationship a secret. You wanted to show him off and tell everyone that he was yours but you couldn't risk Cedric finding out.

Most of the time, you didn't care. Tyler was more than worth it.

You heard a knock on your bedroom door and you made a noise, signaling that Tyler could come in. He opened the door, grinning at you and stepping into the room before carefully closing the door behind him. You got up off the bed to meet him. You pulled him into a heated kiss for a few moments, resting your arms on his shoulders. He slid his arms around your waist just about to get really into the kiss before you pulled away.

"Hi," you said with a grin.

"Hi," he responded quietly, obviously a little surprised by the kiss you had greeted him with.

"Hi," you repeated as you spun him around so his back was to your bed. You stepped forward, causing him to back up and flop onto the bed. You let him adjust before climbing on top of him. He looked up at you with slightly wide eyes and you chuckled before pulling him into another passionate kiss.

You continued to kiss for a while, though you didn't go any farther than that. You had never had sex before, but you wanted him to know that you would be interested in the near future. Giving him a message, you placed your hands on his hips before beginning to slide your hands under his shirt.

"(Your Name)ー"

You looked up quickly to see Cedric standing in the doorway, a look of shock on your face. You froze. Your worst nightmare was coming true.

"Tyler, get out," he boomed.

You looked at Tyler. You didn't move for a moment as you tried to understand what was going on before moving off him. He got up, leaving without a word as Cedric glared at him. It was quiet again as Cedric watched him leave before turning to you.

"I trusted you, (Your Name)," he spoke quietly.

"I know, and I'm sorry," you said.

"That's a lie. You're not sorry."

"I'm sorry it had to be him. I can't stand being with anyone else but him."

It was silent again for a few moments.

"Get out of my house," Cedric said. "You can grab your things tomorrow."

You stood up, walking by him as you tried to hold back tears. You walked downstairs and went outside, where Tyler was still standing in the driveway. He walked towards you, hugging you tightly when he saw you were crying.

"Babe, what did he say?" he asked you.

"He kicked me out," you said, sniffling. "He said to grab my things tomorrow."

"It's okay, (Your Name)," he said quietly as you sobbed into his chest.

"Where am I supposed to go?" you questioned, mostly to yourself.

"Hey, look at me." You did what he told you and he lifted his hand, resting it on your face and wiping your tears away. "I want you to move in with me."

"Really?" you questioned, unable to stop tears from welling in your eyes again.

"Yes, really," he assured. You pulled him into a hug as you began to cry again.

"Yes, I want to move in with you."
