KISS CAM | for thatonegirl0708

"Stop walking so fast, Brandon," Felicity called, walking quickly to keep up with her best friend.
"Sorry," he apologized, slowing down for her.
She giggled. "I don't think I've ever seen you this excited."
For Brandon's 18th birthday, Felicity had brought him tickets to an Ottawa Senators game. Brandon was ecstatic, as hockey was his life and he had dreams of making it to the NHL. He had practically tackled Felicity when she had presented the tickets to him, babbling on about how much he loved her(platonically, of course).
As the approached the crowd of fans, Brandon reached out, grabbing Felicity's hand. She blushed, though she knew he meant nothing by it. They were always this close and trying to figure out whether he had feelings for her or not drove her insane.
Felicity had been in love with Brandon for almost a year. Brandon was her best friend, and she couldn't risk losing him, so she never told him about her feelings. She was willing to keep them hidden if it meant keeping the long friendship the two had.
They approached their seats, still holding hands. Brandon, who seemed to realize this at the same moment that Felicity had, let go, a hint of a blush visible. She didn't notice this, of course, and simply sat down and took in the view.
Since there was a while until the two teams, the Senators, and the Anaheim Ducks, took the ice, the two decided to explore. They walked around, taking in the view as they did so. He held her hand again, holding she didn't mind. He was using the crowd as more of an excuse than anything. He knew that Felicity could handle the crowd, but he would take any chance to hold her hand he could get.
Once the teams took the ice, the two headed back to their seats. Brandon looked like a little kid again as he watched them skate around. Felicity giggled, though it was more cute than funny.
Through one period, the Senators were up 1-0. However, in the second period, the Ducks were putting pressure on the Senators and it was only a matter of time until they scored.
"Having fun?" Felicity questioned, looking over at Brandon. The game had gone to a commercial break, so they had a minute to talk.
"Yeah," Brandon said as if it wasn't plainly obvious. "This is amazing, Felicity. Thank you."
Felicity opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out after she saw what was on the screen. They were showing the Kiss Cam, and the camera was on them.
"Brandon," she managed shakily. He looked over at her until she pointed up at the board.
"Oh." It was painfully awkward for a few long moments before Brandon spoke up. "We should do it."
"What?" she exclaimed, looking over at him.
Brandon blushed. "Why not, right? Give 'em something to cheer about."
Hesitantly, Felicity nodded. Brandon shifted slightly before leaning in. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart raced as he got closer. She could barely hear anything as his lips brushed against hers. It was barely even a kiss, but it had Felicity ruined. Her best friend, who she had been in love with for over a year, had kissed her.
Brandon smiled before turning back to the screen, relieved that the camera was off of them.
During the next break, Brandon leaned over, whispering in her ear, "You don't even know how long I've been waiting to do that."
